Frieza

"Who are you?!"

Nail turned around with a startled cry and immediately assumed a fighting stance. Krillin and Son Gohan followed suit, all of them acting as though they faced a formidable enemy.

Frieza paid them no attention whatsoever. He looked up at Ginyu, who was beating Vegeta in midair, then turned his gaze to Son Goku among the crowd and coldly demanded:

"Ginyu, what is going on here?"

Son Goku froze for a moment, realizing the other party had mistaken him for someone else. He raised a hand and pointed at the sky, explaining:

"I'm not Ginyu. My name is Son Goku. That guy is Ginyu—he switched bodies with me."

Frieza was taken aback and looked in surprise at the golden figure flashing in the sky.

"You're Ginyu?!"

Hearing that familiar voice, Ginyu and the Ginyu Force members present immediately realized who it was.

"L-Lord Frieza?!"

Since Frieza had never revealed his final form before them, Ginyu and the others had not recognized him at first.

"My apologies, Lord Frieza. Your appearance has changed so much that your subordinate failed to recognize you in time!"

Ginyu hurled Vegeta into the lake, then flashed over to Frieza. Kneeling on one knee in an exceedingly humble posture, he respectfully explained everything that had happened.

Upon learning that Ginyu had switched bodies with the Saiyan called Son Goku and could transform into a Super Saiyan, Frieza was deeply shocked.

Of course, he did not believe a Super Saiyan could surpass him at full power. Considering Ginyu's loyalty, however, he was somewhat pleased—after all, he had gained another high-level combatant.

But when he learned that the strange phenomenon on Namek had been caused by someone secretly using the Dragon Balls to make a wish, Frieza became angry for the rare occasion.

He did not immediately blame the Ginyu Force for their incompetence. At least, he could not do so yet.

"So it was you who secretly used my Dragon Balls to make a wish, was it?"

Frieza glared at Anxiuer with utter disgust.

"Oh? So what if I did?"

Anxiuer looked utterly disdainful.

"You damned Saiyan monkey, you are unforgivable!" Frieza's face flushed red as he finally flew into a rage. Extending one finger, he fired a purple laser straight at Anxiuer.

The stench of death hung over everyone's hearts.

Yet Anxiuer neither dodged nor moved.

Bang!

With a light flick of the tail behind him, he effortlessly swatted the laser away.

Frieza was somewhat stunned by the sight. He had used at least half his strength in that attack, yet his opponent had blocked it so casually.

"Hehehe, being able to block one of my casual attacks means you do have some reason to be proud, you filthy monkey. But if this is all the strength you possess, then this is as far as you go..."

Frieza sneered, then his expression abruptly changed. With a ferocious look on his face, he roared:

"You dared destroy my wish for eternal life! I will never forgive you! I'll chop you into pieces bit by bit! I won't let you escape! Prepare yourself!"

The moment he finished speaking, just as Frieza was about to attack, Ginyu raised a hand to stop him.

"Lord Frieza, why would you need to deal with this Saiyan personally? Allow your subordinate to handle him for you. As it happens, I still have a personal grudge to settle with this fellow."

Hearing Ginyu say this, Frieza thought it over and found it reasonable. This sort of matter should have been left to his subordinates in the first place. He had been too agitated just now.

"Then I'll leave it to you, Captain Ginyu. Remember to leave him alive. Only by torturing him properly will I be able to vent the hatred in my heart!" Frieza said.

Ginyu smiled faintly and placed a hand over his chest in salute. "As you command, Lord Frieza."

While the group was talking, the severely injured Vegeta actually climbed out of the water. He panted heavily, covered in blood and looking utterly miserable, yet his face carried a deeply satisfied grin.

"Ahahaha..."

"Frieza, Ginyu, you're finished..."

"The one you're facing is the strongest warrior of us Saiyans—the strongest Super Saiyan, even more powerful than Kakarot..."

"Vegeta?!"

Son Goku stared at Vegeta in surprise.

Hearing this, Frieza was initially stunned. Then he understood and looked at Anxiuer with a grave expression. "You damned Saiyan monkey, could it be that you really can transform into a Super Saiyan, just as Vegeta said?"

"There is no need to worry, Lord Frieza. I am also a Super Saiyan now." Ginyu remained calm. "It's two against one. The advantage is ours."

On the other side, Son Goku quickly walked over to Vegeta, took out a Senzu Bean from his clothes, and fed it to him.

After swallowing the Senzu Bean, Vegeta was once again restored to full health. But because his base strength had already increased and his potential had been developed, this near-death recovery did not boost his combat power by much.

"Anxiuer, aren't you going to transform yet?"

Vegeta gritted his teeth as he stared at Frieza. "This guy is the culprit who destroyed our Planet Vegeta!"

"Oh, Vegeta, so you already know."

Frieza wore a mocking expression. "But don't worry. I'll send you on your way shortly, so you can go see that useless father of yours."

"Damn it..."

Vegeta's face darkened with anger as he turned his gaze toward Jeice and the other members of the Ginyu Force.

Before they could react, he fired a blast in an instant. After a series of explosions, the four of them were reduced to nothing.

The sight stunned Son Goku and the other two.

Frieza and Ginyu could have stopped him, but neither made a move.

"Vegeta, what are you doing?!"

Son Goku was somewhat angry.

"Hmph, stop being so soft-hearted, Kakarot!"

Vegeta looked at Son Goku's current appearance, his face full of disdain and fury.

"You clearly possess such immense power and have even mastered the Super Saiyan transformation, yet you still let Ginyu switch bodies with you. It must have been because you went easy on him!"

Son Goku had no response.

Meanwhile.

"Are you still not going to transform into a Super Saiyan, Anxiuer?" Ginyu stood with his hands on his hips, looking at Anxiuer with utter confidence.

Anxiuer shook his head. "Sorry, I can't transform into a Super Saiyan yet. But dealing with you is more than enough."

Ginyu and Frieza froze at those words. Even Vegeta in the distance looked somewhat taken aback.

"Heh, is that so? Then die."

Ginyu still could not maintain his Super Saiyan state for long, so he had to end this quickly.

He stopped wasting words and gathered a purple energy wave in his hand, firing it at Anxiuer.

Anxiuer remained calm, knocking the energy wave away with a chop of his hand.

Boom!

The energy wave landed in the distance, triggering a massive explosion.

"Hahaha! Looks like your battle power is quite a bit stronger than Vegeta's. No wonder you could withstand the attacks from Frieza and me."

Ginyu laughed as he closed in on Anxiuer at incredible speed.

He threw a punch.

Anxiuer threw one as well to meet it.

Bang!

The shockwave from their clashing fists sent a tremendous gust sweeping outward.

The ground shattered, and the heavens and earth seemed to change color.

The Grand Elder's residence collapsed inch by inch as though it had cracked apart, rubble flying everywhere while dust blotted out the sky.

Other than Frieza, nearly everyone present was blasted out of the arena by that strike.
