Background / History

Wen Tianren is introduced in the Chaotic Star Sea as the figure known as the “Number One Under Nascent Soul.” He appears after Zhu Zhuqing is captured by the Six Paths Heirs and is about to be refined into a Shadow Corpse puppet, taking her away on his White Bone Flying Boat instead 71.

He gives Zhu Zhuqing three days to show signs of qi cultivation, threatening to feed her to sea monsters if she fails. During the journey, he casually defeats a sixth-rank demon beast with one move, showing the power gap between him and Zhu Zhuqing 71.

Wen Tianren later reveals that his true goal is to use Zhu Zhuqing as a bargaining chip with the Jade Green Immortal Sect. He seeks their support against his master, Six Paths Supreme, who murdered his father and intends to possess his body. Wen Tianren has survived by pretending to be a loyal disciple while suppressing his own breakthrough out of fear 72.
