The Mutated Corpse

Tokyo nights seemed especially quiet, the streetlights on either side casting a hazy glow through the mist. In a corner of this bustling metropolis lay a dark alley, concealing countless unknown secrets.

A man in black silently appeared in the alley. He wore a long black robe, his face obscured by shadows, making his true features impossible to discern. Dragging a corpse behind him, he moved lightly toward the depths of the alley. When he reached a sewer entrance, the man in black stopped. Without hesitation, he tossed the corpse into the sewer, then swiftly left the scene.

However, something unexpected happened. Not long after the man in black departed, the corpse that should have been utterly lifeless suddenly opened its eyes! Its gaze brimmed with viciousness.

The corpse slowly stretched out a hand, gripping the nearby wall tightly as it sat up bit by bit. Only then did it realize where it was: a dark, damp place reeking of filth. By the faint light, it saw crisscrossing pipes and endlessly flowing sewage around it. This was the city's sewer system.

Just as the corpse was bewildered, an intense hunger surged through it. Its body began to undergo strange changes—its skin gradually turned pale, its pupils became blood-red, and sharp teeth protruded from the corners of its mouth. Its horrifying appearance was enough to make one's hair stand on end.

Suddenly, a rat darted out of the darkness. The corpse's eyes immediately locked onto its target. It extended its sharp claws and seized the rat with astonishing speed. Then, without hesitation, it stuffed the rat into its mouth and chewed in huge bites. The scent of blood filled the air.

"Akako, I've got a gift for you!" Lin Yu said with a grin as he looked at the little temptress crouched between his legs, busily occupied. Ever since they had returned from making their wish, this girl had been clinging to him for days.

"Wut izzit?" Akako Koizumi lifted her little head, still swallowing continuously as she asked indistinctly.

"Look, it's this—the Commentary Energy Collector. It's incredibly powerful. Someone once used it to destroy an entire planet." As Lin Yu spoke, he gently stroked Akako Koizumi's head, an expression of utter enjoyment on his face. This little girl served him far too comfortably. Women really were a soft and tender refuge; Lin Yu was too lazy to move.

"A Yu, Sonoko just called. She said several students at our school were attacked by monsters, and she wants us to go take a look." Ran Mouri's voice came from the stairway.

Hearing Ran's voice, Lin Yu and Akako Koizumi both jumped in fright. They hurriedly sat properly and straightened their clothes. Still not quite satisfied, Akako wiped the saliva from the corner of her mouth. A faint blush spread across her face, making her look even more beautiful and alluring, and Lin Yu stared blankly at her.

After coming downstairs, Ran saw Lin Yu and Akako Koizumi sitting ramrod straight and asked curiously, "What's wrong with you two? Why are you acting so nervous?"

Lin Yu scratched his head and explained with a smile, "It's nothing. Akako was just giving me a massage. By the way, did Sonoko say what kind of monster attacked the students?"

Ran shook her head, indicating that she did not know. She continued, "Sonoko didn't give many details either. She only told us something happened at school and asked us to hurry over and help. I think it might be some kind of mysterious creature or yokai."

Lin Yu nodded, secretly considering whether he should get involved this time. Akako Koizumi, meanwhile, looked rather excited, seemingly full of curiosity about this mysterious incident.

"Then let's get going!" Akako Koizumi said impatiently. "Maybe we'll run into something interesting."

Lin Yu gave Akako Koizumi a helpless look, thinking that this young lady truly feared the world was not chaotic enough. But then again, she was his woman.
