"Roar~" A howl came from the sewer, followed by a wave of stench as a figure sprang out.

The thing reeked from head to toe. Its mouth was full of fangs, stained with blood and scraps of some unknown animal's flesh, while its clothes hung in tatters.

Its eyes glowed green as it stared fixedly at Lin Yu and the others. Then it suddenly opened its bloody maw and lunged at them.

"Get lost!!!"

With nothing more than an angry shout from Lin Yu, an overwhelming surge of energy instantly sent it flying.

"So this is the monster? It's so ugly—so disgusting!" Akako Koizumi said disdainfully.

The moment she finished speaking, the ahoge on her head suddenly shone with a brilliant light and transformed into a broom.

"What is this?" Akako Koizumi stared at it in surprise. The next second, the broom turned into a spear. "Hehe, this is so fun! It can change according to my thoughts?!

"I get it. This must be a magical artifact with magic, like my broom?"

"Thank you so much, darling. As expected of the man Akako Koizumi chose—what a wonderful surprise." Akako Koizumi gazed at Lin Yu affectionately, her eyes filled with gratitude and love. She had not expected Lin Yu to give her such a precious gift, and it deepened her feelings for him even further. If before, she had merely wanted to have children with Lin Yu because he was powerful and handsome, then now, Akako Koizumi had truly fallen in love with the man before her.

Just then, the monster that had been blasted away climbed back to its feet, let out a low growl, and lunged at them again.

"Watch out!" Sonoko Suzuki screamed in alarm, hurriedly warning them.

Akako Koizumi reacted quickly and immediately threw the spear in her hand at the monster. The spear shot forward like an arrow released from a bow, easily piercing the monster's body and pinning it firmly to the ground.

"Roar!"

The monster let out a furious roar, as deafening as thunder. It grabbed the spear lodged in its body and, in a rage, forcefully pulled it out.

As the spear was pulled free, a huge hole formed in the monster's chest. Green blood gushed out like a fountain, splashing across the ground.

The monster's body began to tremble, and a vicious light flashed in its eyes. It had only one goal: to tear the person who had hurt it into pieces.

Akako Koizumi swiftly retreated. Seeing this, the monster charged forward even more frantically, brandishing its claws as it tried to catch her.

Akako Koizumi remained calm. She quietly began chanting an incantation and cast a spell. A red beam shot from her hand, striking the monster directly.

"Fireball!" It was a low-level spell that could launch a fireball at an enemy.

The monster was hit by the fireball, and its pained howl echoed through the sky. However, it did not fall. Instead, it was enraged even further.

Worried that Akako Koizumi might get hurt, Lin Yu wanted to step in and kill the beast outright, but Akako Koizumi stopped him. She had just gotten a weapon, so naturally she wanted to test it out.

The battle soon entered its fiercest stage. Akako Koizumi used every trick she had as she engaged the monster in an intense duel.
