Buying a House

Outside the Civil Affairs Bureau.

"I actually married someone I'd only known for such a short time."

Shiho Miyano's gaze slowly fell on the marriage certificate. Printed on it were their names and photos, their smiles bright and happy.

"Wife, let me introduce myself. My name is Lin Yu. Please take care of me for the rest of our lives," he said gently, his eyes full of love and promise.

"Mhm!" Shiho Miyano nodded shyly, her voice as soft as a mosquito's buzz, a faint blush rising to her cheeks. She lowered her head slightly, not daring to meet Lin Yu's eyes, yet her heart was filled with joy and anticipation.

"Come on, let's buy a house to be our marital home," Lin Yu said softly, taking Shiho Miyano's hand. His palm was broad and warm, tightly holding her small hand as though he wanted to chase away all her unease and nervousness.

They walked side by side down the street, bathed in warm sunlight. A gentle breeze brushed through their hair, bringing a hint of coolness. Shiho Miyano gradually relaxed. She secretly glanced up at Lin Yu beside her, happiness glimmering in her eyes.

"H-Honey, we don't seem to have any money, do we?" Shiho Miyano asked quietly.

"Don't worry, I prepared for this long ago!" Lin Yu wore a smug smile as he reached into his pocket and took out a Universal Capsule, speaking with complete confidence.

With a light press from Lin Yu, the Universal Capsule instantly activated. Then came a loud BOOM, and thick smoke billowed up, filling the air. But as the smoke gradually dispersed—

A house suddenly appeared on the previously empty ground, as if by magic. Shiho Miyano's eyes widened at the sight before her—every room was filled with glittering gold!

The gold was piled up like mountains, giving off a dazzling radiance that left anyone who saw it awestruck.

"Wow!!! Gold! Honey, so much gold!" Shiho Miyano's voice trembled with excitement, her eyes sparkling brightly.

"From now on, I'll leave all of this for you to look after, sweetheart." Lin Yu smiled at Shiho Miyano, his eyes full of trust and affection. He gently retrieved the Universal Capsule and placed it in her fair, slender palm.

Shiho Miyano froze slightly. She lowered her head to look at the Universal Capsule in her hand, feeling Lin Yu's lingering warmth on it, and a wave of warmth surged through her heart.

"Honey, you're so good to me!" Shiho Miyano lightly kissed Lin Yu on the cheek. The kiss seemed to carry endless sweetness and tenderness. Happiness shone in her eyes, and the corners of her lips curved into an utterly contented smile.

However, Lin Yu did not seem satisfied with such a reward. With a mischievous grin, he said, "That little reward is nowhere near enough, dear wife. Tonight, on our wedding night, you can reward me properly then!" His eyes held a trace of sly anticipation.

At those words, Shiho Miyano's face instantly turned red, like a ripe apple, so shy she seemed ready to bleed. "You're awful! You're such a bad man!" she protested coquettishly, her voice carrying a hint of displeasure but even more embarrassment. At the same time, she reached out and lightly pinched Lin Yu. It was not hard, but enough to express the flustered annoyance in her heart. Even so, her gaze never left Lin Yu, and her eyes remained full of love.
