By Wednesday evening, Tabu had arrived at the Gravity Chamber well ahead of time.
The Gravity Chamber complex had five main training rooms, plus two low-multiplier rooms reserved for recruits. Those two recruit rooms could only be adjusted up to fifty times gravity, and Nappa and several veterans retired from the mobile squads took turns instructing there. But the room Vegeta had marked for Tabu on the schedule was not a recruit room—it was Main Room Three, where gravity could be raised as high as three hundred times and which was normally used only by Vegeta and Son Goku. Standing before the alloy doors of Room Three, Tabu looked up at the row of constantly flickering status lights above the frame and swallowed. Those were traces left by Ji Ming and Vegeta's long years of sparring; some were deep enough to catch half a finger. The gravity in the room was not set particularly high, only slightly heavier than outside, but when Tabu stepped
