Battle Between Hokages

A Big Ball Rasengan as large as the Wind Hunting Hawk appeared in Mirai's hand.

Grasping the Big Ball Rasengan, Mirai struck the Wind Hunting Hawk directly in midair.

Screech—

The Wind Hunting Hawk let out an earth-shaking cry before being completely engulfed by Mirai's Super Big Ball Rasengan.

Although he was far away, Jiraiya still witnessed this scene from afar.

After all, it was in the air, and it was such an enormous Rasengan.

"Th-That... who the hell is that?!"

Jiraiya stared at the gigantic Rasengan in the sky, his eyes filled with shock.

What shocked Jiraiya was nothing else but that Rasengan.

The Rasengan had been developed by his disciple, Minato Namikaze, but Minato had died before it could ever be revealed to the world.

In the current ninja world, he was the only one who knew of and could use this ninjutsu.

Yet unexpectedly, this person could also use the Rasengan.

And it was such a powerful Rasengan at that.

Who exactly was this person?

Jiraiya's heart was full of doubt.

After being struck by Mirai's Big Ball Rasengan, the Wind Hunting Hawk was pulverized by the high-speed spinning sphere.

All that remained were feathers drifting down from the sky, along with falling blood and chunks of flesh.

After Mirai blasted the summoned beast Wind Hunting Hawk to pieces with the Super Big Ball Rasengan, he vanished while still in midair.

"Who was that just now?"

"Do any of you know him?"

"Who knows who he is?"

After Mirai disappeared, the ninjas below began asking one another about his identity.

After questioning each other, someone recalled Mirai's identity.

"I remember him. He seems to be a rookie participating in this year's Chunin Exams: Uchiha Mirai!"

"Yes, yes, I've seen him before!"

What followed, needless to say, was a flood of praise.

Taking advantage of the brief lull, Jiraiya also learned Mirai's identity from the Hyuga Clan.

Yet the more he learned, the more curious Jiraiya became.

Atop the Hokage Building!

"Sensei, long time no see!"

Orochimaru coldly watched the Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi, standing before him.

"You returned to Konoha this time just to destroy it?!"

Hiruzen Sarutobi wore samurai armor, his brows tightly furrowed.

Although Orochimaru was his disciple, Hiruzen Sarutobi had never truly understood him.

"Sensei, Konoha is finished! I've summoned beasts around Konoha to wreak destruction. No one can stop the devastation caused by the summoned beasts!"

Orochimaru sneered coldly, looking as though his scheme had succeeded.

"You..."

Hiruzen Sarutobi was furious. He had never imagined things would turn out like this.

The man before him was his disciple.

He had once been a Konoha ninja as well. He should have protected the village, not destroyed it.

"Are you really going to do this... Orochimaru?!"

Killing intent began to surface in Hiruzen Sarutobi's eyes.

As the disciple of the Second Hokage, Senju Tobirama, and as the Third Hokage himself—

He would not allow Konoha to be harmed, much less allow anything to happen to Konoha.

Even if the person responsible was his own disciple, it was still unacceptable.

"Sensei, I've already done it!"

"To entertain you, I've brought plenty of sincerity and opportunities!"

"Summoning Technique!"

Orochimaru bit his finger and slammed his palm fiercely onto the ground.

With a bang, three upright white coffins appeared out of thin air.

Each white coffin had a yellow sealing talisman pasted onto it.

Looking at the three coffins, Hiruzen Sarutobi felt a faint sense of unease.

It was as though something extraordinary lay within them.

"Teacher, I went through countless hardships to obtain these, all so I could give you a surprise!"

Orochimaru stared at the three coffins with fervent eyes, as if they contained something wonderful.

Seeing Orochimaru's expression, Hiruzen Sarutobi's brow furrowed even tighter.

The unease in his heart grew ever clearer.

"What is this?"

Hiruzen Sarutobi finally could not hold back any longer.

Orochimaru stroked a coffin and said softly, "This is the ultimate pursuit of jutsu!"

Orochimaru suddenly turned around and stared fixedly at Hiruzen Sarutobi.

"Do you believe that the dead can return to life?"

At those words, Hiruzen Sarutobi's pupils abruptly contracted!

"You... what do you mean..."

He vaguely already had an answer, but Hiruzen Sarutobi refused to believe it.

"I know you should already have an answer in your heart. Since that's the case, I'll open the coffins and let you see for yourself!"

Orochimaru's hands flew through a series of movements, instantly completing an extremely complex hand seal.

"Edo Tensei!"

The seal was completed, yet nothing happened.

But Hiruzen Sarutobi was thoroughly shaken by the hand seal just now.

As the lids flew away, two figures within the coffins were revealed.

Hiruzen Sarutobi was completely stunned.

The First Hokage, Senju Hashirama, dressed in red samurai armor embroidered with the Senju clan crest!

The Second Hokage, Senju Tobirama, with silver hair, red eyes, three red markings on his cheeks, and a black skintight combat outfit!

Hiruzen Sarutobi was finally moved.

"Orochimaru, how could you do something like this!"

Hiruzen Sarutobi pointed at Orochimaru furiously, the rage in his heart reaching its absolute peak.

"Teacher, don't be in such a hurry. The real show is only just beginning!"

Boom!

Senju Hashirama and Senju Tobirama suddenly opened their eyes inside the coffins, and a massive blast of air surged outward.

Unable to withstand the force, the coffins exploded into fragments with a bang.

"Where is this?"

Senju Hashirama looked around curiously, utterly puzzled.

"Idiot Brother, this is Konoha!"

Senju Tobirama immediately spotted Hokage Rock and Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Third Hokage.

"Monkey, did you summon us back from the Pure Land?"

Senju Tobirama's eyes were filled with confusion. Why would Hiruzen Sarutobi suddenly use a forbidden jutsu to summon them?

"Sorry to interrupt your reunion!"

Orochimaru's voice rang out at just the right moment, drawing Senju Hashirama and Senju Tobirama's attention.

"The First and Second Hokage of Konoha, I was the one who revived you two!"

Orochimaru looked feverishly at his achievement, utterly exhilarated.

"You revived us?" Senju Tobirama frowned.

"What is going on, Monkey?"

Senju Tobirama turned to look at Hiruzen Sarutobi. Clearly, he wanted to know what had happened.

Senju Hashirama was the same.

However, unlike Senju Tobirama, he was simply curious about Konoha's current state.
