On his second trip aboard the Hogwarts Express for the new school year, Kano started yawning as soon as he boarded.

A diary as a Horcrux was truly bizarre. Last night, the diary, tightly sealed away, seemed to have realized its predicament and had bounced around inside the oak box all night.

Kano had no choice but to run out into the yard in the middle of the night and draw another moonlight magic circle. He bled himself again as a sacrifice and added another layer of moon goddess sealing to the box.

Now, he was both sleep-deprived and weak from blood loss. All he wanted was to get to school quickly and have Dumbledore deal with the thing.

Neville was sitting across from him again. His face was still round, but he seemed to have lost a little weight this year.

"Kano, didn't you sleep well last night?" Neville asked curiously.

When he woke again, the Express was nearly at the station. Kano hurriedly pulled on his newly made school robes and got off the train with the other students.
