Saturday arrived quickly.
At dusk, Strange and Christine Palmer deliberately dressed in the formal attire they had worn to their graduation ceremony and took a taxi to Per Se Restaurant at the southwest corner of Central Park.
After checking their prize ticket, the waiter led them into the restaurant with a warm smile, not forgetting to congratulate them. "You two are truly lucky. We only gave out one dinner prize ticket."
At any halfway decent restaurant, dinner reservations were always harder to get than lunch reservations, because miserable office workers could only enjoy a proper meal after getting off work.
The waiter showed them to their table, set out their utensils, and asked enthusiastically, "Which winery's red wine would you like? La Rose or Gusbaud?"
"Do you have Château Clotte?" Strange had clearly done his homework.
"Yes. Please wait a moment. It will need some time to breathe." The waiter bowed slightly and withdrew politely.
Strange and Christine were future surgeons interning at Langone Hospital. Their prospects were promising. Though they were temporarily short on money, they were not so intimidated by a publicly open restaurant like this.
Not long after they sat down, a 2006 extended Rolls-Royce Phantom stopped outside the restaurant. A waiter hurried over to open the door as Pepper Potts and Tony Stark stepped out hand in hand.
"Is this place any good?" Tony Stark gave it a once-over and commented sharply, "The decor is very new. It probably hasn't been open long."
"It's been open for four years and has received three Michelin stars for three consecutive years. Its online reviews are pretty good." Pepper Potts had yet to grow accustomed to the life of a wealthy wife. Like other young people, she enjoyed checking online reviews, unaware that truly expensive and excellent restaurants were
