Background

Lin Xia discovered early that Bulbasaur could convert sunlight into life energy and Soul Power through photosynthesis. He made sunlight cultivation their primary method when they lacked resources, treating Bulbasaur as an independent partner rather than a mere tool. 2

At six years old, he attempted to enter Silvis Plant Academy despite being far younger and weaker in Soul Power than its normal applicants. At the academy, Yue Hongsheng recognized Bulbasaur's affinity for poison and offered access to his poisonous courtyard, steering Lin Xia and Bulbasaur toward the path of poison cultivation. 3 6

Yue Hongsheng's methods nearly cost Bulbasaur its life.
