Watching their captain being pinned beneath Rody's foot, the Bellamy Pirates wept, their hearts filled with despair. Though they called themselves pirates of the new era and looked down on pirates who believed in the existence of One Piece and Sky Island, they had never even imagined something as cruel as cannibalism—let alone eating their own pirate captain.
"Lord Slayer, th-this... we can't do something like that!"
Sarquiss, the vice-captain of the Bellamy Pirates, looked at Rody in despair, his face covered in snot and tears. He had never imagined he would encounter such a cruel demon as Slayer. Usually, he had only relied on Captain Bellamy's reputation to run wild wherever he pleased.
The other members of the Bellamy Pirates thought the same. They had followed Bellamy only because Notis was too boring, joining him on the Grand Line. They had never imagined that the powerful figures of the sea would be so cruel and tyrannical.

"But with strength this weak, you still dare call yourselves pirates of the new era. You really make me laugh." As he spoke, Rody ground his foot against Bellamy's face.

Bellamy's mouth was sealed with wax, so he could only make muffled noises as tears continuously spilled from his eyes. His heart was filled only with despair. He regretted being so overconfident as to challenge Slayer, a Shichibukai. He should have known that since Slayer could become a Shichibukai like Lord Doflamingo, his strength could not possibly be measured by bounty alone.
