A Note Before You Begin Reading (Must Read!)

1. This book uses the world of One Piece as its setting, but there will inevitably be changes and discrepancies in the detailed timeline and character relationships. Otherwise, there would be no way to advance the plot. Please understand.

If you truly cannot accept that, you may consider this a parallel world of One Piece. Everything is the choice of Steins;Gate. (Serious face.)

The author admits to having read only a little One Piece fanfiction and does not understand its usual conventions, but the plot is absolutely original, with no plagiarism whatsoever. There will be canon storylines (East Blue, Skypiea, Sabaody Archipelago, the great war) as well as original storylines (North Blue, Mary Geoise, lunar civilization).

The protagonist is a Marine and will not switch sides to become a pirate. His values are exceptionally upright (probably), he is not a bleeding heart, and he kills decisively. No Devil Fruit; he uses system skills, the Six Powers, Haki, and some original sword techniques.

The system is a cheat that only provides skills and lotteries. It will not issue missions or communicate proactively.

The protagonist's ambition is to become the strongest in the world, bear the title of justice, personally bring the Great Pirate Era to an end, and establish a new world order. Those looking for an unrestrained life of burning, killing, plundering pirates, please look elsewhere.

4. He will not join the crew, but he will cross paths with Luffy and the others.

5. There is a heroine (an original character). No harem, and no taking canon female characters such as Robin, Nami, and the Pirate Empress.

6. This book is guaranteed to be safe and harmless, not perfunctory, not padded (perhaps), and not abandoned midway. (I have completed nearly 1.5 million words before. As for my character, just look at the results of my first book—you'll know how truly miserable they were. I wrote alone for nearly a year.)

7. No bad habits such as hiatuses or dropped updates. (Mainly because I want the full-attendance bonus to improve my meals.) If something beyond my control happens, I will ask for leave.

8. The author will try to keep the writing close to the manga's style and write a good fanfiction novel. However, having long been heavily influenced by numerous fantasy and xianxia works, the style may sometimes drift away from a two-dimensional feel, or the chuunibyou energy may become too strong and affect the reading experience. Please understand.
