Today, I received over a hundred recommendation votes and seven or eight tips.
Honestly, since I started writing, these past two hundred-plus days have made today the most fulfilling.
In this morning's chapter, I saw a comment: "With updates this slow, what are you even asking for?"
I have to admit, they were right. I really do write too slowly. At four thousand words a day, I have no right to ask or beg for anything.
Honestly, with my last unsuccessful book, where I scraped by on the guaranteed minimum and attendance bonus, I could type four thousand words an hour. Back then, I never thought about anything. I just wrote whatever came to mind. Two thousand words would be finished in no time.
But with this fanfic, it takes me two hours to write two thousand words. Even I find it surprising. Surprising that I've become so slow.
Later, I understood. It was because I was truly writing every word with care now.
One Piece was an anime I had followed since childhood. I didn't want to write something that only vaguely resembled it.
Same as before: two chapters a day is the baseline, and whether there are three depends on my condition.
I can't guarantee a fixed update schedule, but I will definitely write these four thousand words every day honestly and properly.
Lastly, thank you again to all the readers who support me. Thank you for every recommendation vote, every heartwarming review, and every critical one.
The author bows in gratitude.
