Iron Fist Fullbody!!

This sea party was scheduled to last a month. So that the guests aboard the cruise ship could fully enjoy the ocean scenery, the luxury liner had slowed to an extremely leisurely pace.

Being able to stand leisurely at the bow and enjoy the comfortable sea breeze was something these nobles and wealthy merchants, normally cooped up on land, rarely got to experience.

Ordinary seafaring vessels would sometimes approach as well, but they were only allowed near after it was confirmed they meant no harm. Anyone wishing to board midway had to receive approval from several people in charge aboard the ship.

The daily sea party was held as scheduled. Music still drifted melodiously through the inner hall, with violinists and pianists occasionally performing together.

People came and went in groups.

The cabin doors to the inner hall were gently pushed open, and two men in casual clothing walked in. Daniel stood beside them and smiled. "Ensign Fullbody, what do you think of the place?"

"Well, this really is a great party!" Fullbody looked around and burst into laughter.

The accompanying Marine in plain clothes hurriedly flattered him. "Only such a luxurious party is worthy of celebrating your promotion to warrant officer, Mr. Fullbody."

"Heh heh."

Fullbody hummed smugly. After only a year, he had finally risen from a Marine Headquarters sergeant to a Marine Headquarters warrant officer. At the warrant officer level, he finally had the authority to lead troops and patrol independently.

To celebrate this happy occasion, Fullbody had specially given himself the title "Iron Fist" and planned to make it famous throughout the East Blue. He then applied to the East Blue Marine Branch for a month of leave.

Fullbody came from Marine Headquarters. After arriving in the East Blue, he had captured several pirates with bounties of around one million Beli. His accomplishments were indeed far better than those of many Marines. The East Blue branch rear admiral had no idea whether someone from Headquarters was backing Fullbody, so in his confusion, he actually approved the month-long leave.

Thus, Fullbody, whose interests were entirely devoted to dances, parties, and beautiful women, had boarded this luxury liner through the arrangements of certain interested parties. He wanted to celebrate and indulge himself over his promotion.

Daniel only knew that Fullbody came from Marine Headquarters and had risen quickly through the ranks. He might even become a Marine colonel in the future and command a branch. Daniel therefore wanted to curry favor with him early and build a connection, so he could ask for help later if he ever ran into trouble.

"Handsome gentlemen and beautiful ladies."

On the host's platform in the center of the inner hall, the host, who had already been notified, held a microphone. "Today, we have invited a rare guest. He is—"

The host drew out his voice and paused deliberately. The background music became rapid and tense in coordination, instantly drawing everyone's attention.

"A rare guest?"

"Who is it? Who exactly is it?"

Quite a few people began discussing it. Seeing how solemn the host looked, they called out curiously.

"He is—"

The host acted mysterious once more. Everyone unconsciously pricked up their ears, and the music abruptly stopped.

"Admiral Don Krieg!"

Before the host could speak, an unknown voice suddenly stole his line. He froze. Who had said that?

At once, panicked screams erupted from the women below the stage, along with the men's accusations.

"Where is Don Krieg?"

"Why would you invite a pirate like Don Krieg?!"

"What the hell are you doing?!"

The host hurriedly said, "Wait, that wasn't me just now! Our guest is..."

"Hundred Plans Kuro."

Before he could finish, another unknown voice cut him off. Seeing the furious crowd about to erupt again, the host quickly raised a hand and pointed toward one of the entrances. He no longer dared to play mysterious and shouted at the top of his lungs, "It's him, Marine Headquarters Warrant Officer Fullbody!"

"A Marine warrant officer?"

"So it isn't Admiral Don Krieg or Hundred Plans Kuro..."

"That's such a relief..."

Everyone looked at Fullbody near the entrance and instead breathed a long sigh of relief. Krieg and Kuro's notoriety in the East Blue had practically sunk into everyone's bones. Even the Marines found these two damned pirates difficult to handle. If they had truly appeared at this ball, they would all have been finished!

The initial surprise and curiosity had been diluted by the scare. Fullbody's appearance now seemed utterly ordinary in everyone's eyes.

A Marine warrant officer... how could he compare to Admiral Don Krieg and Hundred Plans Kuro?

The pride on Fullbody's face, which had not even had time to emerge at the host's solemn introduction, was completely crushed.

About an hour passed after Fullbody's arrival.

Fullbody quickly picked up a pretty woman as his dance partner and began dancing with her. Yet he could not bring himself to feel happy. His mind was filled with the thought of how painfully ordinary his entrance had been. Not only had it lacked flair, it had even made him feel looked down upon.

Suddenly, the music stopped, and a stern voice rang out over the broadcast. "Enter alert status. A pirate ship has been spotted ahead! I repeat, a pirate ship has been spotted ahead!"

"Hey, pirates really showed up?"

"What's going on? Are they messing with us again?"

The crowd immediately erupted into an uproar.

As one of the people in charge, Daniel hurriedly raised his voice to reassure them. "Everyone, stay calm. With our forces, we'll soon drive those pirates away!"

"Pirates are here!"

Fullbody released his dance partner's hand and revealed a smile that seemed to say, What perfect timing. He confidently snatched up a microphone and declared righteously, "Everyone, do not be afraid. With Iron Fist Fullbody here, I will never let the pirates harm you!"

"Justice will prevail! The Marines will prevail!"

With those passionate, forceful words, an aura of unmatched confidence rose around him as he strode out of the inner hall.

That's right!

Only then did the people in the inner hall remember that this man was Marine Warrant Officer Fullbody. If he was an experienced Marine officer, he should have plenty of ways to deal with pirates, right?

With that thought, everyone finally calmed down considerably.

Very soon, crackling sounds came from outside, followed by waves of fighting and killing cries.

Then, gradually, the sounds died down, and the cabin doors opened once more.
