Hunter Association, West Blue Branch.

For more than two years, Mizaistom, the head of the West Blue Branch, had been having an extremely hard time—so bad it could hardly have been worse. The root cause was undoubtedly Bred...

Ever since Bred had loudly proclaimed his belief in protecting the interests of the weak and made "breathtaking" efforts to put it into practice, his supporters within the Hunter Association had grown like a snowball.

Not all of those supporters merely paid lip service to Bred. Many were willing to take real action in support of him, and so the Hunter roster at the West Blue Branch gradually underwent replacements and transfers, eventually turning into something of a stronghold for Bred's supporters!

As a result, orders issued by Mizaistom, the head of the West Blue Branch, were sometimes less effective than a single word from Bred. In other words, he had been sidelined.

Most terrifying of all were some of Bred's supporters—mostly women—who had not been drawn in by Bred's stated ideals of protecting the weak. Calling themselves "Lord Bred's Fan Support Club," they flew the banner of "Protecting the cute and handsome Lord Bred, building a cute and handsome Hunter Association." They were especially adept at spreading rumors and making unreasonable trouble, and their combat power was formidable. They simply could not be provoked. Anyone who was at odds with Bred would inevitably suffer their exclusion and suppression.

Mizaistom's conflict with Bred went back a long way, so naturally he could not escape the exclusion and suppression of Lord Bred's Fan Support Club. The dignified two-star Crime Hunter, renowned as "the conscience of the Twelve Zodiacs," saw his reputation plummet. Rumors surfaced one after another about his disgusting personal habits, work blunders, and using his position to harass female Hunters.
