Indigo groveled as he led Norse into the ship's kitchen.
Norse asked Indigo, "What good ingredients do you have aboard this ship? From the looks of it, your captain hasn't eaten for a week, has he?"
"Yes, Lord Norse. Our captain has gone more than a week without eating. A few days ago, he was vomiting badly and nearly dehydrated!"
Indigo nodded firmly. He had not expected Lord Norse to actually be a chef. What role did he hold aboard the Kuja Pirates?
"Stop talking and make the arrangements already. They're still waiting for me to host the social gathering over there!" Norse urged impatiently.
"Oh, I'll have someone bring the food over right away." Indigo wiped away a cold sweat, thinking he had offended Norse.
Not long after.
Indigo indeed brought several subordinates over, carrying an iron cage into the kitchen.
"Lord Norse, this is the finest ingredient on our ship." Indigo was exceedingly respectful.
"Oh, not bad. A big bear!"
Norse looked it over. The Flying Pirate Crew really was rich, worthy of being the pirate crew that had claimed dozens of islands in Merveille for itself.
"Hehe~~ We only prepared this little bit of food while traveling. I wonder if it satisfies you?" Indigo said modestly.
"Braised bear paws will do. Go kill it. Just bring me the four paws," Norse ordered.
"Right away!"
After agreeing, Indigo personally went to prepare the ingredient.
Soon, the kitchen was filled with the bear's agonized roars. It sounded like the bear had not been given a quick death, but had been tortured to death alive.
Still, since only the paws were needed, it would not affect the quality of the meat.
"Lord Norse, here they are. Do they look alright? There's so much meat on these paws!" Indigo's face
