Background

One Leaf Floating Cloud is the sole young master of Spark Fitness Center, a major provincial fitness-chain business. Before becoming involved with High Martial Descent, he expected to spend his life comfortably playing virtual games rather than pursuing physical training. His sister Ye Qinglu’s position as Sky Travelers’ vice-captain, however, gave him a reason to seek improvement and eventual admission into the guild. 63

He became intensely invested in High Martial Descent, to the point of neglecting real-world training. Its martial skills and meditation methods improved his real-world strength, body control, and reaction speed; he later demonstrated these gains during sparring with Ye Qinglu. 62 64

His ambitions expanded beyond combat. Having previously operated successful weapon shops in another virtual game, he viewed manufacturing as the practical route to acquiring capital, retaining powerful teammates, and building an independent team in High Martial Descent. 132

Personality

One Leaf Floating Cloud is competitive, opportunistic, and highly motivated by both combat growth and profit. He initially sees himself as unable to match elite professional players through conventional strength, so he deliberately pursues burst-oriented martial skills that let him trade blows with stronger opponents. 50

He is also unusually thorough when rewards or potential opportunities are involved. He correctly theorized that monster drops could be hidden inside corpses, then searched a Unicorn Gold-Eating Rat’s stomach despite the mess and smell to recover a high-end smart watch. 62

His enthusiasm can become greed or recklessness. When informed that Smiling Skull forces were converging on his position, he treated the threat as an opportunity for lucrative drops; he also recruited miners by offering them only 5% of the Energy Ore they extracted. 230 245

Abilities & Skills

Spiral Demon Spear Kill

A recreated Tier 3 spearman skill from God-Devil Battlefield and One Leaf Floating Cloud’s principal burst technique.

  • Successfully recreated it before most players could reproduce powerful martial skills. 42 50
  • Used it to secure a BOSS first kill, though the technique incapacitated him afterward. 50
  • Countered Fischer’s Apprentice-level Burning Moon in their duel, leaving both combatants injured and producing a stalemate. 55
  • Integrated Crushing Stone Fist and later Lightning Palm into the skill through intensive experimentation. 80
  • Reached a five-stage, 63% state after the Lightning Palm integration, producing a 3.3× power burst and lightning-infused attacks. 80
  • Used the technique to kill Quasi-Martial Artist Nuoke after his opponent was wounded. 105

Spear and Halberd Combat

He specializes in long-reach weapons and adapts martial skills to them.

  • Used a B2-grade spear against a Limit Apprentice wielding nearly 1,800 kilograms of force. 80
  • Combined the first Prairie Fire Spear Technique move, Starfire, with his combat style; the move delivers triple power. 105
  • Regarded the B2-grade halberd and improved inner-strength control from the Mental Secret Technique as key to making his newly developed Spiral Demon Spear Kill especially dangerous. 112

Martial Arts and Mental Perception

His game training carries into reality and later allows him to outperform higher-level players in Eternal Immortal Path.

  • Crushing Stone Fist can double hand strength in-game and still provides a 50% increase in reality. 64
  • Star Explosion Meditation Technique improved his real-world reactions, body control, spirit, and willpower. 64
  • Had Crushing Stone Fist and Leopard Shadow Steps at over 50% proficiency early in his progression. 59
  • Learned the Mental Secret Technique after recognizing its importance in high-level combat; it substantially improved his inner-strength control. 112
  • Used “mental perception” to evade attacks from five War God Alliance players with minimal movement despite being only Level 1 in Eternal Immortal Path. 303 304
  • After adapting to that game’s body, used a no-Inner-Strength version of Lightning Palm to kill a Level 6 opponent in one strike. 304

Weapon Engineering

One Leaf Floating Cloud develops energy-based weapons by combining game materials, martial skills, and engineering knowledge.

  • Attempted electromagnetic handguns inspired by Lightning Palm. 131
  • Developed an electromagnetic cannon and contracted with Lin Qi, who received a 51% stake in his future weapon shop in exchange for assistance. 132
  • Produced alloy pellets for use as concealed ammunition with electromagnetic cannons. 133
  • Worked with Nine Revolutions Purple Dragon to identify Energy Crystal fragments as the key to attribute weapons. 178
  • Created an improved golden Desert Eagle using Energy Crystal fragments, reducing inner-strength consumption by 40% and control requirements by 50%. 179
  • The Golden Desert Eagle lets a beginner apprentice fire at Mach 4 over 100 meters and fire twice consecutively; Quasi-Martial Artists can fire three to four times in succession. 179
  • Created an external energy-storage spear from C-grade alloy and Energy Crystals to accelerate energy convergence and absorption. 290
  • Used a Profound Tier Martial Skill to temper minerals into an alloy stronger than C6 grade, potentially reaching D grade or higher. 344

Equipment

  • B2-grade spear — Used during the White Feather Gang deathmatch. 80
  • B2-grade halberd — Paired with his Mental Secret Technique-enhanced inner-strength control. 112
  • A6-grade weapons and battle armor — His team accumulated high-grade equipment through raids and elite-monster farming. 112 144
  • Golden Desert Eagles / Super Electromagnetic Guns — Attribute firearms incorporating Energy Crystal fragments. 179 181
  • Blue-quality reward staff — A rare player-held weapon with one attribute slot granting +50% Strength and another granting +50% Inner Strength; displayed at the Sky Garrison stronghold rather than risked in combat. 365

Relationships

  • Ye Qinglu — His older sister, combat mentor, teammate, and Sky Travelers sponsor. She pushes him to train, teaches him advanced techniques, and helps him enter the guild. 62 63 240 305
  • Lin Qi — Hall Master of the Obsidian Martial Arts Hall and business partner. Lin Qi supported his electromagnetic-cannon project in exchange for a majority stake in his prospective weapon shop. 132
  • Fang Zhen — Teammate and frequent collaborator; Fang Zhen admired his monster-drop discovery, though the two differ in priorities during resource events. 62 143
  • Luo Wu Shang — Fellow Gray Robe Gang player and combat ally. They coordinated against White Feather Gang elites and later escaped together after One Leaf killed Nuoke. 80 105
  • Nine Revolutions Purple Dragon — Engineering recruit and manufacturing partner who assisted with electromagnetic-gun improvements and attribute-weapon research. 178 179
  • Thousand Blade Fiend — Sky Travelers member who witnessed his performance in Eternal Immortal Path and considered him among the guild’s top five fighters. 304 305
  • Azure Sky — Sky Travelers guild leader and One Leaf Floating Cloud’s idol; formally welcomed him into the guild. 305
  • Presia — An NPC who gave him an old transportation-route map after he attempted to improve her favorability for possible rewards. 245
