Cao Yaxuan and the others had all taken missions today. They got back late, ate a quick dinner, and went to bed.
After tonight, it would be July 22. Only four days remained until July 26.
On July 26, Xu Lang would complete the Sequence Fusion.
In his sleep, Xu Lang entered the Fusion Dreamscape for another look. The smelting furnace shone gold as the Time History Book and the other Sequences merged within it.
"Four more days and it'll be done. Should I throw in a variable?"
The last time he had fused the Butcher and Beast Tamer Sequences, he had gone to the Blood Mist World. As a result, the final fusion had changed from "Shepherd" to "Scarlet Shepherd."
He had no idea whether the original Shepherd was good or bad, so he couldn't tell whether the change had helped or hurt.
"Man... Simulation can't simulate anything involving the Nightmare Sequence. I can't use it to gather information."
The Nightmare Lord had created the Shepherd Sequence. If Xu Lang forced a Simulation, the simulated dream would bring in a god-level figure to cobble that Sequence together, consuming a massive amount of Nightmare Essence.
Xu Lang had tried it once. The Simulation had ended almost as soon as it began.
There was no helping it. He was broke.
"Better play it safe. I'm fusing too many Sequences this time. Another variable could make things spiral out of control." Xu Lang shook his head.
In the past, his control over Sequence Power had been too weak. He could only passively absorb Blood Mist, which caused the fused Sequence to mutate. After developing his Sequence further, he could now control that variable himself. In the future, he could make a comparison and see what differed between mutated and unmutated
