Background

Before the Dormitory Survival Game, Cao Yaxuan was a wealthy, highly popular Clear Sky University student. She drove a Maybach, moved easily among the university’s social circles, and was widely treated as an untouchable “Senior Cao.” 3

She regularly went rock climbing and worked out, giving her reasonable physical fitness and some courage before acquiring supernatural abilities. Her pre-game social life included attending campus ceremonies in evening gowns and traveling internationally. 3

At the beginning of the game, she approached Xu Lang on behalf of a proposed Mutual Aid Alliance and tried to purchase his beginner’s items for one million after the game. When he refused, she was forced by the worsening situation to negotiate for a tenant slot in Dormitory 200. Initially resentful and distrustful, she considered killing or replacing him once she understood the game better. 3 5

Living in Dormitory 200 gradually changed her priorities. Scarcity, danger, and Xu Lang’s strength made her increasingly cooperative, though she retained a competitive streak and a desire to eventually surpass him. 8 11 440

Her parents remained an important source of concern. She hoped to find them among newly arrived players and later used the Queen of Clubs in an attempt to summon family or friends from Earth. Cao Yaxuan began as proud, status-conscious, and accustomed to getting what she wanted. Her initial attempt to trade for Xu Lang’s room and supplies reflected both her confidence in money and her belief that normal social leverage still mattered. 3

She is ambitious, competitive, and strongly motivated by visible growth. She eagerly pursued the Supreme Ice Vein, seeks opportunities to gain free attribute points, and openly wants to exceed Xu Lang in at least one individual attribute. 138 440 471

Despite her self-serving impulses, she is emotionally direct and protective toward people she values. She celebrated when Xu Lang trusted her with a crossbow, cried with relief when he returned safely from danger, and panicked over Zhen Lu’s injuries. 28 38 193

Her authority role also exposes a ruthless side. She is willing to use lethal force against people she judges sinful or rebellious, often treating the Main God’s sin-value system as sufficient justification. 471 503 866

Her enthusiasm for punishment is partly tied to the attribute rewards it provides. Outsiders consequently regard her as a justice-obsessed fanatic who kills indiscriminately, whereas she actually uses her ability to perceive sins to identify rewarding targets. Its formal designation is Blood Pact Esoterica: Supreme Magic Power, with both Level and Rarity listed as EX. The power it unlocks is called Ultimate Magic Power, described as one of the finest ice-element powers and an inheritance of the most legitimate Supreme Imperial bloodline.
