As the Demon Race army advanced under the venerables’ command, Forest Titan Cao Sen left Cao Weichen in charge of the Magic Forest and began his Ascension Trial. Meanwhile, Wu Bumei restored a Mad King Building player’s Sanity, then encountered Chen Shisan, who was passing through after completing a quest.

• The Steel Titan counted thirty-six Demon Race venerables and urged Cao Sen to hold the floors below the Magic Forest, while Cao Sen doubted their plans could change the looming crisis.
• Cao Sen put Cao Weichen in charge of the Magic Forest and departed to undertake the Ascension Trial, admitting he did not know whether becoming an Ascender could save the Titan Building.
• A Mad King Building player became increasingly contaminated by strange knowledge until a cleaner disturbed him while sweeping Mad Filth from beneath his feet.

• A man on a blood-red cliff felt the Seven Killings Star’s killing intent draw him toward a more worthy target, then flew off after growing stronger by hunting monsters in the Mist Zone.

Chen Silu and the others destroyed the boards’ central foundation, but Wang Yi revealed he was still under the white-suited man’s control. Lin Zhao called herself the man’s friend and asked him to stop speaking to Wang Yi, and Wang Yi suddenly regained himself.

• Chen Silu severed the northeast square’s connections while Li Wenchang explained how the board’s momentum worked.
• Wang Yi repaired the square, but Baili Tu’s seven spears pierced the Tengen and shattered both boards.
