Background / History

Wang Ziyi first contacts Bai Yi after he identifies himself as the survivor of a wolf-pack encounter. Impressed by his claim that he killed nine wolves including the wolf king, she adds him as a friend, offers discounted medicine, and proposes cooperation. She reveals her Plant Resonance talent and the special crops already growing in her shelter, including Spirit Rice, Hemostatic Grass, and Antidote Grass. 7

Within her existing group, Wang Ziyi advocates recruiting Bai Yi as a combatant. She wants to contribute rather than merely rely on the shelter upgrades, seeds, and aid her teammates have provided. After Bai Yi proves his strength with photographs of wolf meat and heads, she continues negotiating his recruitment and shares information that players will soon be able to meet in person. 8 11 12

After the novice-protection period ends, Wang Ziyi remains in contact with Bai Yi. He eventually joins her group, whose members recognize her as a 21-year-old vegetable-farming specialist. Her plant-based shelter later serves as the team’s regular gathering point. 15 18 21

Her shelter is named Seed of Life. Its plant-based construction and her talent allow medicinal herbs to mature in only a few days; she asks teammates to collect any plant seeds they find, promising to grow and sell the resulting crops at cost. 21 24

During the team’s first treasure-chest expedition, Wang Ziyi acts as a ranged combatant and contributes heavily against the Bone-Cleft Whisperer. She is later caught in the Pulse-Wheel Albatross’s vacuum attack, loses consciousness, and is struck by its beak despite Xie Xu’s attempt to pull her to safety. Personality

Wang Ziyi is lively, enthusiastic, and openly expressive. She is quick to admire capable people, eagerly calling Bai Yi a “big shot” after learning of his wolf hunt, and later gives him the nickname “Dog Bro.” 7 18

She is also motivated by a strong desire to be useful to her group. Rather than accepting her teammates’ help passively, she searches for a powerful recruit and develops her shelter into a source of food and medicine. 8 24

Although intimidated by Bai Yi’s overwhelming pressure during sparring, Wang Ziyi forces herself forward, driven by the need to find her parents, remain with her teammates, and survive. 38
