Weide stood beside Dole and saw a strange smile cross his face. Dole opened his mouth, then closed it again.

Just then, he saw Dole walking toward the filthy slums.
He hesitated for a moment, then followed behind Dole.
He, too, probed with his mental power, but sensed nothing ahead.

Dole followed the familiar streets forward.
After nearly twenty years away, the slums were still the same slums—dilapidated, filthy, chaotic, lined with wooden shacks. Nothing had changed.
What had changed was that some of the broken-down houses seemed to have had a few layers of planks replaced, yet they remained just as ramshackle as before.
Dole saw the location where the hidden Wizard array lay.
Above that spot stood a house that had been rebuilt several times, yet it was still exceedingly rundown. It was the very house Dole had lived in back then, and now it seemed to be empty.
Dole walked straight toward the house. He saw that the source of that aura was directly beneath it.
The aura was extremely concealed and spread across a wide area, yet no one knew of it. Without perceiving it on the level of rules, even he would not have been able to detect it.
Moreover, he did not understand what the aura did. He only knew that it was mysterious and well-hidden.
Its purpose was unknown.
