Accompanying Dole, Aixi, and the others were an Elf Race guard captain and two female elf servants. The captain's name was Canosha.
Canosha was also exceptionally powerful, a level-seven expert. Even here in the Elf Forest, while accompanying Dole, she did not dare show him any disrespect.
They were housed separately atop an Elf Tree. After settling in, Dole, Aixi, and Elreya stood at the entrance in the great tree, chatting while looking out at the surroundings.
The two children were also brimming with curiosity. They grabbed the two elf servants beside them and sweetly began asking questions, gathering a great deal of information in no time.
Naturally, the children's questions were filled with childish phrasing. For example: "This tree is so tall—how does everyone get down?" "What abilities do you need to climb an Elf Tree?" "Do all elves have pointy ears?"
Canosha answered patiently at first, but eventually the questions wore her out, and she ran over to Dole and the other two.
Dole felt slightly apologetic. "Children don't know any better. Please bear with them."
Canosha looked at Dole, not daring to let down her guard, yet still maintaining the elves' noble bearing. She said slowly, "Wizard Dole, it's nothing. Elf children are the same. I quite like children; they just truly have rather a lot of questions."
After saying that, she laughed herself.
Dole nodded. "I taught them that if they don't understand something, they should ask. Looking at it now, perhaps that wasn't a good habit."
Canosha let out a soft laugh. Elves rarely laughed, but when she did, her whole being radiated a distinctive youthful air.
