Dole wore a bitter smile. "I can't afford one. I cultivate a meditation method of wind, water, and lightning. After reaching Level Seven, the first law I somehow came into contact with was the Law of Life, so I switched halfway into potion-making. By now, my savings are practically zero."
The Wizard looked at Dole in surprise. He cultivated wind, water, and lightning, yet came into contact with the Law of Life? That really was bizarre.
Switching paths halfway really was miserable.
"It's fine, it's fine. Water of Life makes money quickly. As long as you're willing to put some thought into it, you can save up for an inexpensive formula every month. The potions in Level Eight formulas are all related to laws. As long as you can afford them, you can come into contact with several more laws. Why not? And if you brew lightning-element potions, you might even come into contact with laws related to your own meditation method."
Dole gritted his teeth. "Looks like that's the only way. I'll work harder. What potion are you planning to buy, sir?"
The other man smiled faintly. "A Level Eight Mental Power Potion. I want to comprehend laws related to the mind."
Dole raised a brow. That was fairly conventional.
The two exchanged contact methods, and only then did their discussion end.
The meeting began quickly and ended just as quickly. Soon, it adjourned, and everyone went back to whatever they had been doing.
