Daphne watched her father's departing back, casually waved a hand, and said, "Come on, I'll show you around the royal palace's rear garden. The scenery here is quite nice, though it's a little cramped. The imperial capital's area is limited—being able to arrange it like this is already not bad. This princess is rather envious of you. You have an entire county's worth of land to build on. It must be huge, right?"
Dole said nothing.
Seeing Dole's expression, Aixi was somewhat helpless. She looped her arm through Dole's and pulled him forward as she said, "A county can range from one hundred to five or six hundred kilometers across. Our Albis City counts as a medium-sized city. Because of the mountains, it occupies a vast area, but there actually isn't much land suitable for farming or use—only around a hundred thousand square kilometers."
A hundred thousand square kilometers. As Daphne walked ahead, she imagined that expanse. It was even a little larger than the area around the imperial capital.
It really did seem quite large.
An envious look appeared on her face. "I haven't gone out much myself. When I have the time, I should go take a look."
Aixi asked curiously, "Then how did you advance from level four to level five?"
By then, they had already left the cluster of Wizard Towers and arrived at the entrance to the rear garden.
Daphne looked at the distant scenery and said breezily, "Who knows? I just wandered around outside the city once, and suddenly I was level five."
Dole and Aixi's expressions both froze.
She
