Ruger looked at the new dish that had been placed in his hands, still twitching faintly on the plate. His thoughts drifted away; even its bizarre appearance and enticing, peculiar fragrance could not immediately pull him back.
As for this so-called correspondence, perhaps it could be used to make Cavern World affect Nightmare World. It surely would not be so simple to accomplish, but someone was bound to be capable of doing the unexpected. Or perhaps it could work the other way around—doing something in Nightmare World that affected Cavern World. That should be difficult, perhaps even harder than the former.
"Are there ordinary humans leading those teams? What sort of relationship do they have with those red-skinned, fanged people when they interact?" Ruger suddenly asked.
