Ruger and his two companions took turns meditating during their breaks. Of course, Ruger also had Zhizhi standing guard. He meditated to increase his mental power while promoting the integration of the Silence Magic Seal with his five Demonic Marks. The other two, who had theoretically already reached the mental power limit of a Wizard Apprentice, sought to refine the quality of their mental power and draw closer to their own supposed limits. At their level, however, any so-called progress was already imperceptible to the naked eye.
Whatever their reasons, none of the three had neglected their daily meditation along the way, thanks in part to their relatively smooth journey. Most interestingly, Layden was the one who placed the greatest importance on meditation.
