Chapter 323: Ears and Tall Tales
The neighboring table had become the focal point of one corner of the Tavern.
That was because one of the men had a long ear—yes, only one. His other ear was normal, making him look especially ridiculous. But Ruger noticed that the people around them did not seem to think so. They drank while stealing glances at him, their faces solemn whenever they looked over, their expressions almost describable as reverence.
Ruger smiled. This was probably what they called someone blessed by a god.
Still, for this guy to be drinking here, he probably was not doing too well.
