Ruger lay on the bed, holding the notebook Kurt had given him, one he had nearly worn out from flipping through these past few days. The Blood Curse Doll sprawled across his forehead, looking curious, but Ruger had already closed his eyes and slowly immersed himself in the spell. The successfully cast Divine Object Art led him into another field of vision, yet this was merely an ordinary object, with little accumulation of time behind it. It was difficult to see any traces worth examining.
