Ruger looked at the large mouse, whose face was brimming with delight.
This fellow had ended up here, in a place it never should have appeared, because of a chain of twists set off by his small action. This was not the Fairy Kingdom. For it to want to quietly build an Inn here was undoubtedly a wild extravagance; it might not even be able to survive here peacefully. The wizard apprentices passing by alone would never let such a peculiar little creature go.
This was the result of a seed he had planted, so he did not want things to develop in an even worse direction.
"Can I really?" The mouse tilted its head at him.
Ruger nodded.
"If you agree, I can give all of that to you—the shop as well. You'll still be the one and only owner. Of course, the Cooks are free, but I think they'll like you and your inn very much."
