What would make a wizard feel proud?
Ruger looked at Robin lying on the ground before him, grinning in a silent, bizarre laugh. He had not known the man before, and perhaps he could not agree with the ideals behind what Robin and his companions had done, their view of the world, or their approach to things. But he could sense that Robin was probably proud of his audacity, proud of what he had done-something he believed was right, something ordinary people would struggle to accomplish, even to conceive of, let alone dare attempt.
But did that smile still belong to him now? Was the Robin before him still Robin?
Ruger probed with his mental power, while also using the fluctuations in malice to roughly sense the two entangled souls. Faced with this peculiar situation, he had gained an interesting extra dimension of perception.

Blood sprayed from Robin as he lay smiling on the ground.
Two deep wounds crossed over Robin's chest, stretching from his shoulders to his waist.
Ruger raised his brows slightly. This was somewhat different from what he had imagined. In his perception, it was not merely two souls entangled together. The body before him was also entangled, seemingly a single whole, yet not completely fused-a state in which separation was possible.
Yet these bloody wounds had not exposed an opening as he had expected. In his perception, there was still a line, right on the chest.
But even within the deep, gaping wounds, that inexplicable line was nowhere to be seen.
Ruger's eyes shifted. Perhaps he still needed to approach this through the souls. Their entangled state made
