Could You Gryffindors Calm Down?

Malfoy's voice echoed through the house.

Harry, Ron, and Hermione exchanged glances, no longer as resistant as they had been at first.

After all, no one should have been more eager than Malfoy to find Professor Fawley.

"We can work together, but on one condition: you can't reveal anything about this place to anyone!" Hermione said with a stern expression.

Malfoy raised his eyebrows in surprise.

Judging by their attitude, this incident seemed far more serious than he had imagined.

Not only that, Hermione shot Harry and Ron warning looks as well.

"The same goes for you two. Until we learn the truth or catch the real culprit, we can't let any information leak out. At least, not yet."

The two looked at each other.

"Hermione," Harry said thoughtfully, "you suspect there's a mole?"

"It's not suspicion. There definitely is!"

Hermione went to the window and carefully examined the peaceful street outside before drawing the curtains.

"This person is powerful, but he's still only one person. There's no way he could have gathered a hundred thousand tons of magical water in three days all by himself."

"Even if he could, the places where that magical water is stored would need to be sensibly distributed across the country to pose the greatest threat. In other words, he must have a team assisting him—perhaps even an entire massive organization!"

"And yet, an organization like that, people like that, managed to evade every watchful eye of the government and the Ministry of Magic without leaving a single trace beforehand."

"Of course," Hermione said as she slowly turned back, "I don't suspect the people around me. But I do suspect the people around the people close to me."

"So I'd rather this person be Professor Fawley. At least then we could still communicate. But
