• Yu Ci gained insight into the Law of Life and Death from the transcendent demonic seed, then used Gui Yan to face Old Crow and expose the hidden power behind the seed.
• Yu Ci and Old Crow’s conflict drew Madam Huanyong into the Nine Palaces Demon Domain, where the black flood dragon’s breakthrough triggered the Great Tribulation of Heaven and Earth.
• Hao Dian emerged from Xiao Wu’s void and struck down Old Crow’s clone with the Jing Tian Sword before falling asleep beside Yu Ci and Xiao Wu.

Yu Ci entered Wu Gou City as Jiu Yan, exchanged cultivation knowledge, and became entangled in the city’s rivalries and Sword Discussion Pavilion’s search. After reuniting with Flower Lady aboard the Mountain-Moving Cloud Boat, he made Cloud-Born Incense for the ailing Madam Bai, while the cause of the Pavilion’s search and the changing tribulation clouds remained unresolved.

• Yu Ci, posing as Jiu Yan, met Daoist Huifeng and Zhang Miaolin to discuss exchanging the Four Spirits Dharma Aspect and other techniques for spirit talismans, while Ji Yuan recognized him as his former master.
• Hai Hong revealed that a bounty had been placed on Jiu Yan, and Gui Yan found notices offering both a reward for his death and recruitment.
• Jiu Yan killed Tan Feng, Zhao Yong, and Ji Er after they pursued him, and Hai Hong ordered the Four Seas Society to record the killings.
• Ji Yuan asked Jiu Yan to help process spice plants tainted by the Great Tribulation, and Yu Ci reunited with Flower Lady and learned of Ye Bin’s troubled dealings with the Rakshasa Sect.

• Ling Jiao examined Madam Bai, escorted Yu Ci through the sword formation to gather dew, and watched him make Cloud-Born Incense as the tribulation clouds changed, and Yu Ci then burned a pellet for Madam Bai.

Yu Ci and his allies exposed Bao Yun’s revenge plot and used the chaos around Lu Suhua’s tribulation to confront the Sword Discussion Pavilion and the Demonic Sect. The arc ended with Yu Ci and Flower Lady approaching the Demonic Sect’s ambush as Lu Suhua weakened, while Flower Lady questioned Yu Ci’s reason for pursuing her.

• Yu Ci took back the incense pills from Lu Erniang, while Flower Lady helped her prepare to meet him.
• Guiyan attacked Lu Suhua and Flower Lady, but Lu Suhua fought back and the resulting battle threw the Mountain-Moving Cloud Boat’s sword formation into chaos.
• Lu Suhua killed Lu Erniang and confronted Yu Ci, while Gui Yan and Bao Yun revealed Bao Yun’s role in Lu Suhua’s Heart Locking Tribulation.

Yu Ci and Lu Suhua became trapped in the Six Heavens Ghost God Bloodlight Thunder Prison, where Yu Ci manipulated the self-created world to wear her down until Heaven’s Will reclaimed the tribulation. Yu Ci survived by drawing on Chengqitian and Xiao Wu’s world, but remained trapped with a dangerous Blood Sha Thunder Pool as a visitor sought him out.

• Flower Lady explained why Lu Suhua was prized by rival factions and offered Yu Ci her sect’s Unambiguous Wonderful Explanation, while the mountain peak shook.
• Yu Ci and his companions fought the Demonic Sect’s forces as Lu Suhua’s suppressed tribulation erupted, and Lu Suhua struck Yu Ci with the Annihilation Yuan Hammer.
• Lu Suhua merged with Fist Intent to escape the laws of heaven and earth, and Yu Ci joined his mind with Bao Yun’s to study the Six Heavens Ghost God Bloodlight Thunder Prison.
