Yu Ci said nothing more. His body rose into the air, and the "formation diagram" began to revolve soundlessly. Its five "petals" continually shifted direction. At first, the cultivators did not react, but when Yu Ci pointed, Duanmu Senqiu's group was the first to catch on. With a sharp whistle, he led the cultivators in constantly changing positions as they moved.
When one point moved, every point moved. Those present were all experts tempered through years of slaughter and perilous ventures. Aside from some initial confusion, they soon fell into step, whirling rapidly around Yu Ci. Yet would simply circling like this accomplish anything?
They quickly learned that it was more than mere circling. The structure of the five "petals" on the "formation diagram" was far more ingenious than they had imagined, and their movements were far more complex as well.
Besides rotating clockwise and counterclockwise, the petals could shift positions with one another, even temporarily break away, pass straight through from above or below, and fit into another direction.
Directed by the "petals," the cultivators darted back and forth, soaring and diving.
