Infiltration Invasion

The Stargate changed. A leaping biological cluster passed through the wormhole and arrived at the other end of the Stargate.

The Zerg biological swarm had long been waiting and immediately exchanged fire with it, fulfilling the mission bestowed upon them by the Overlord with their lives.

Under the gamma-ray assault, these small Zerg biological swarms were effortlessly wiped out in a single exchange.

The leaping biological cluster lost none of its momentum and continued straight toward the star. Along with the destroyed Zerg swarms came streams of radio messages, written in the Zerg language, which the Zerg command echelon could understand without any translation.

"All intelligent Zerg individuals within the stellar system, attention! This is the first and only surrender broadcast! We hereby notify all intelligent Zerg within the stellar system: those who surrender will not be killed; those who refuse will be destroyed!"

The radio message spread at light speed, rapidly expanding to cover the entire stellar system before the leaping biological cluster reached the vicinity of the star.

Such a call for surrender received no response. Even after the leaping biological cluster arrived at its predetermined position, the Zerg made no move and maintained radio silence throughout.

To the Collectors, being ignored amounted to an implicit refusal. Just as the surrender broadcast had stated, they announced it only once. Upon reaching the predetermined position, the Collectors followed their prearranged procedure and promptly gifted the hive planet within the stellar system a black hole bomb.

The black hole bomb took effect in an instant. One side of the hive planet erupted in an exceptionally dazzling light, and once that light faded, the hive planet no longer existed, nor did anything upon it.

It had become a low-mass black hole. In a few years, its mass would completely evaporate away.
