How should the Great Destruction be fought?

The Great Destruction left behind by the Hui civilization was meant to eliminate civilizations that exceeded the standard. As for how they were eliminated, there were no restrictions whatsoever, making the Great Destruction nearly impossible to defend against.

Some civilizations had been destroyed by viruses that suddenly appeared. Some perished because their stars inexplicably entered their final years and were about to go supernova. Others were swept away like garbage by passing neutron-star pulsar beams. More absurdly, some were destroyed after a powerful weapon malfunctioned, triggering civil war.

The Great Destruction had no specific method of attack, so targeted defenses were naturally impossible. It could descend in any form.

At first glance, this seemed very similar to the probabilistic disasters in the Hui civilization's galactic experiments, but there were still differences between them.
