In space, vast spherical bodies of machinery and flesh intertwined battled the swarm led by Perpetuity.
The battle was fierce, yet it could also be called anything but.
The Coordination Council was completely at the mercy of the Collectors. Light swords, released as lightspeed strike weapons, continuously attacked the Collectors, yet large numbers of Coordination Council pilots were simultaneously captured by the swarm led by Perpetuity.
"The Ripple Megastructure is the bait. Make sure it draws their fire!"
"Deploy living bullets from nearby individuals. The moment there's a gap in the star system's defenses, fill it immediately!"
Perpetuity's orders were delivered in an orderly fashion.
It knew that the Coordination Council was aware of the Ripple Megastructure, a devastating weapon capable of interfering with the use of the spiritual domain. It also knew the Council would never allow the Ripple Megastructure to appear on the battlefield.
So it used the Ripple Megastructure as bait, openly placing it on the battlefield and constantly shifting its position throughout the star system at superluminal speeds.
Perpetuity's open scheme was highly effective. The Coordination Council's commanders did not dare leave the Ripple Megastructure unchecked on the battlefield, and the vast majority of their firepower was drawn toward it.
Meanwhile, the other superluminal organisms did not clash head-on with the Coordination Council's combat units. They merely kept launching living bullets through electromagnetic catapults, laying them throughout the star system while using antimatter bullets to harass the Council's combat units.
If the losses of the living bullets were not counted, the swarm led by Perpetuity had not suffered a single casualty thus far.
Compared to before, the Coordination Council was now nothing more than a mouse toyed with by a cat. The prey's fierce resistance only added to the predator's enjoyment.
Though the Coordination Council had
