Piccolo VS Cell

Kami had vanished, which meant Cell should have appeared as well. His next move would likely be to fight Vegeta and the others. Son Goku's heart disease should have healed too, but there was no need to get too involved. What Ye Bai looked forward to most now was the timeline after Beerus woke up. That was when the fighting should really get satisfying.

Meanwhile, at Kame House, Son Goku had finally endured the agony of his heart disease attack and was sleeping soundly. Downstairs, Trunks was preparing to set out and investigate the cause behind the disappearance of so many humans, leaving the others at Kame House to guard Son Goku.

Piccolo arrived in Ginger Town and landed atop a tall building, looking out over the city. The roads were littered with clothes left behind by humans, and the entire city was silent.

Piccolo walked down the deserted streets when he suddenly heard a strange rustling from an alleyway, as though something were dragging itself along the ground. He warily scanned his surroundings. Amid the howling wind, he seemed to hear a dragging sound, followed by strange footsteps behind him.

Piccolo turned around and saw a green creature covered in black spots, with a syringe-tipped tail behind it. It looked somewhat like a locust and was dragging a human body in its hand.

"Ugly monster! Who exactly are you?" Piccolo asked as he stared at the hideous creature before him.

"Help!" The middle-aged man in the monster's grasp woke up and cried out to Piccolo for help.

"What's going on? The energy I sensed from this guy... Impossible! What the hell is going on?" Piccolo sensed it, then staggered back a step in shock.

"Help me! I'm the richest man in this city. I'll give you however much money you want, as long as you save my life!" As he spoke, the middle-aged man pulled out a stack of bills and offered it to Piccolo.

"Looks like talking any further is useless. Go ahead and come at me! No matter what, I've only got one lousy life to lose!" Piccolo said warily when the creature did not answer him.

Cell stared at Piccolo without saying a word, then set the man in his hand down. Just as the man tried to run, Cell's tail suddenly stabbed into his back. The tail pulsed disgustingly, as if it were extracting something from the man's body. Before long, the skin over the man's entire body began to cave in, as though the flesh and blood beneath it had been sucked away. Slowly, only a layer of skin remained. In the end, even that seemed to be absorbed, leaving only a stack of bills and his clothes on the ground.

"You'll be next, King Piccolo!" Cell's hoarse, grating voice rang out.

With that, Cell lowered into a fighting stance, and his energy surged forth, blowing away all the dust and clothes on the ground as the earth began to crack apart. Yellow light radiated from his entire body, and before long, Cell's energy took on the same feel as Piccolo's.

"Who exactly are you? How do you know the name Piccolo?" Cold sweat ran down Piccolo's forehead as he asked.

"Because I am your brother," Cell answered.

"Who the hell are you? Tell me the truth, now!" Piccolo shouted, his expression turning ugly. This hideous freak was actually claiming to be his brother.

"There's no need. Before long, you'll become my food." Cell's locust-like mouthparts opened and closed, looking rather disgusting.

"I see. Since you don't intend to talk, I won't ask any more questions. I'll just destroy you directly." Piccolo's expression gradually turned fierce as he looked at Cell.

The energy Piccolo unleashed instantly blasted a circular crater beneath his feet. Even the air warped under the compression. After releasing his energy, Piccolo said, "Well? But it seems you've got the wrong guy."

"What? You're saying I've got the wrong guy? You mean you aren't King Piccolo?" Cell looked up at Piccolo in shock.

"That's exactly what I mean. You wiped out all the residents of this city, which saved me a lot of trouble. Now I can finally use my full strength." As Piccolo finished speaking, his energy rose again, and golden lightning appeared around his body.

Piccolo raised his left hand. Golden light gathered in his palm, and when he aimed it at Cell, a beam of light that seemed to cover half the Earth appeared and engulfed Cell.

The light slowly faded, leaving behind a ruined wasteland. Only the city behind Piccolo remained intact.

Meanwhile, Android 17 sensed an immensely powerful energy. He stopped the car and walked over to the roadside.

"I definitely sensed a very powerful energy just now, right?" Android 17 said to Android 18, who had walked over beside him.

"Yes." Android 18 nodded.

"Was it a volcanic eruption? Or..."

"You weren't mistaken. That was Piccolo's energy just now. He's fighting the guy who's coming after you." Ye Bai walked over to Android 17's side as he spoke.

"You seem to know what's going on. And what do you mean when you keep saying someone is coming after us?" Android 17 turned around and looked at Ye Bai.

"Um, Dr. Gero's creation. An android like you two, made to kill Son Goku. He has the genes of us Saiyans, the Frost Demon Clan, and the Namekians."

"Oh, right. He also has some kind of mechanism that seems specifically designed to deal with you. And he isn't in his perfect form yet. Once he absorbs the two of you, he'll enter his perfect form." Ye Bai looked toward the distant sky as he spoke.

"Absorb? What do you mean?" Android 18 asked Ye Bai with a puzzled look.

"He has a tail like a syringe that can absorb you into his body. In other words, his tail can expand, wrap around you, and slowly suck you into his body." Ye Bai described it in great detail.

Android 17 and Android 18 stared at Ye Bai in shock.

"Scared? Android 17, call me brother-in-law and I'll protect you two. How about it?" Ye Bai said with a lecherous grin.

"How do you know we're brother and sister? I never said we were siblings, did I? And I feel like you're trying to fool me." Android 17 turned his head and looked at Ye Bai seriously.

"You look so alike that anyone could tell without guessing. If you think I'm lying to you, then forget it." Ye Bai said indifferently.

At that moment, Android 16 got out of the car and said to Android 17, "Two energies are clashing. One of them is powerful enough to rival you."

"What? Your radar must be malfunctioning. No one in this world could possibly have power equal to mine." Android 17 first exclaimed in disbelief, then spoke confidently.

After that, Android 17 stopped paying attention to the situation over there and turned to get back into the car. Seeing this, Ye Bai and Android 18 also returned to the car, opened the doors, and sat back down. Android 17 started the car and drove on.

"Was what you said earlier true?" Android 18 turned to look at Ye Bai and asked.

"Yeah, it was." Ye Bai gave a simple reply and said nothing more. The car then fell into silence.
