Cell VS Frieza

Cell frowned at Li Wei and Ikaros behind him, wariness flashing through his eyes.

Not long ago, he had just defeated Super Saiyan 2 Gohan and destroyed Earth. Yet, to his utter surprise, a guy called Majin Buu had emerged from within the planet and given him a brutal beating, nearly killing him!

In the end, Cell had no choice but to use the time machine he had stolen from Trunks to flee that timeline.

But the moment he arrived in a new timeline, two people he had never seen before came looking for him. After suffering at Majin Buu's hands once, Cell had become far more cautious.

"I see. You destroyed Earth, but woke Majin Buu, who had been sealed inside it. You deserved that beating!"

Through mind-reading, Li Wei had roughly figured out this Cell's origins.

At those words, Cell looked even more wary of Li Wei, as though he were ready to flee at any moment.

Li Wei shrugged indifferently. "This time machine has already run out of energy. Where could you possibly run? Just come with me."

"Hmph! Arrogant fool!" A cold glint flashed through Cell's eyes as he raised a hand, preparing to fire a ki blast at Li Wei.

Whoosh~!

A laser shot out afterward, yet arrived first, piercing through Cell's chest.

"Argh~"

Cell cried out in pain, clutching his chest as he stared at Ikaros in utter disbelief!

The red light in Ikaros's eyes flickered, and smoke still rose from her raised fingertip.

"Anyone who harms Master must be eliminated!" Ikaros said flatly, though killing intent shone in her eyes.

Seeing this, Li Wei hurriedly rubbed Ikaros's head, soothing away her killing intent.

Cell watched Ikaros warily. That seemingly delicate girl had nearly one-shotted him. How terrifying!

"Just you wait!"

After leaving behind that threat, Cell immediately used Instant Transmission to flee, not even having time to take the time machine with him.

The closest inhabited planet to Earth.

Flash!

Cell appeared through teleportation, then let out a heavy sigh. "I shook them off. I never expected Earth to be hiding so many monsters!"

"Whether it was that Majin Buu or that man and woman, they all gave me the feeling that they were invincible."

"Your instincts are right." Li Wei's voice sounded from behind him.

Cell was startled and hastily put some distance between them. He stared in horror at Li Wei and Ikaros, who had caught up to him.

"Y-You can use Instant Transmission too?!" Cell asked fearfully.

"It's not some difficult skill. You can learn it after watching it once, so why wouldn't I know it?" Li Wei said with a teasing smile.

Cell narrowed his eyes and demanded, "What exactly do you want?"

"That's not the tone a weakling should take when questioning the strong. You only need to obey and remain humble, just like Frieza," Li Wei said.

"Frieza?"

Confusion flashed through Cell's eyes, before his expression turned vicious. "You think I'm really afraid of you?"

"Who knows? A guy like you isn't even qualified to make me act. Let me find you an evenly matched opponent instead."

Li Wei smiled and snapped his fingers.

Flash!

Frieza was summoned over.

Frieza looked around, and his gaze soon fell on Li Wei. He was not particularly surprised; after all, he was already familiar with being summoned out of thin air.

"Lord Li Wei, what are your orders?" Frieza asked respectfully.

Li Wei pointed at Cell. "See him? Beat him up for me. Let me see how much your strength has improved over the years."

Frieza turned toward Cell and smiled with narrowed eyes. "As you command, Lord Li Wei."

Step, step, step~

Frieza strode heavily toward Cell, stopping before him with a narrowed-eyed smile. "I don't know who you are, but since Lord Li Wei has given the order, I suppose I'll have to give you a thorough beating. Prepare yourself."

Cell stared at Frieza disdainfully and sneered. "You? How arrogant!"

Frieza did not get angry. Instead, he spread his hands helplessly. "I've seen plenty of minor characters like you. You have little strength, yet such a big mouth. I truly wonder who gave you such confidence—or perhaps... are you simply stupid?!"

"Frieza, I'll return those words to you. In my eyes, you're nothing more than an insect!" Cell sneered.

"Oh? You know who I am, yet you still dare to insult me. How interesting!" Frieza swished his tail, amusement in his eyes—though beneath that amusement lurked a chill.

"Then let me give you a small taste of the terror of the Emperor of the Universe!" Frieza slowly spread his arms as a layer of black aura enveloped his body.

Seeing this, Li Wei said in surprise, "Frieza can already wield Zagi's dark power so soon? Impressive!"

Feeling the aura emanating from Frieza, Cell's formerly disdainful expression suddenly turned grave!

"You're not Frieza. Who are you really?!" Cell assumed a fighting stance, and a trace of wariness appeared in his eyes as he looked at Frieza.

"Oh-ho-ho-ho! Have you become so frightened after sensing my power that you're babbling nonsense? Relax, dizziness is perfectly normal!" Frieza mocked.

"Don't get carried away! You're just Frieza!" Cell snorted coldly and launched the first attack!

Boom!!

An energy blast flew in and struck Frieza squarely.

A smug look appeared on Cell's face.

But when the smoke cleared, Frieza was still standing quietly where he had been, completely unharmed. The black aura surrounding him did not so much as flicker.

"How is that possible?!" Cell stared in horror.

"Oh my? Is that really all your attack amounts to? What a disappointment." Frieza shook his head, then raised a hand and fired a Death Beam.

Whoosh~!

The Death Beam was as fast as lightning. It arrived in the blink of an eye and easily pierced through Cell's chest!

"Gah~"

Feeling the searing pain of his chest being pierced, Cell let out a howl of agony before gritting his teeth and leaping into the sky!

Cell hovered high in the air, one hand pressed over his chest and the other against his forehead as he rapidly gathered energy...

"Special Beam Cannon!!"

Cell roared and unleashed a spiraling energy wave.

"That looked a little more respectable." Frieza calmly swished his tail, gathering energy at his fingertip before firing a Death Beam!

Boom!!

The two energies collided, but Frieza's Death Beam tore through Cell's Special Beam Cannon with unstoppable force before piercing straight through Cell's arm!

"AAARGH!!"

Cell's arm exploded into a cloud of blood mist!

Whoosh!

Frieza flashed before him, drove Cell deep into the ground with a heavy punch, then immediately followed up with an energy blast!
