Space. Somewhere within a silent asteroid belt.
Cell stopped behind a massive asteroid.
He let go and tossed Babidi onto the ground.
Babidi lay there like a lump of mud.
The magic array had drained most of his life force, leaving his shriveled skin tightly stretched over his bones.
He gasped for breath, his cloudy eyes rolling as he made out the green monster before him.
"You..." Babidi rasped. "Are you one of the Supreme Kai's men too?"
Cell ignored him.
Cell turned to look in the direction they had come from.
There was no light. No sound.
But a scouter was unnecessary. Dr. Gero's radar system was installed in Cell's brain.
That red energy source was still approaching.
Broly.
He was roughly fifteen minutes away.
That guy's speed in a vacuum was nothing exceptional, but his obsession was terrifying.
"What an annoying mad dog." Cell sneered.
He lowered his head to look at Babidi. His tail slowly rose behind him, its needle-like tip aimed at Babidi's heart.
"I kept you alive because of your skills," Cell said. "Tell me how to open a gate to the Demon Realm."
Babidi recoiled.
But he quickly realized what was happening. His opponent was running for his life.
"What are you hiding from?" Babidi bared his toothless mouth. "That golden-haired Saiyan? Did he beat you to a pulp?"
Cell's tail moved forward an inch. Its tip pierced Babidi's skin.
"Know your place, old man." Cell's voice was ice-cold. "If I absorb you, I can still obtain your memories and magic. Asking directly just saves time."
Babidi's entire body stiffened.
He could feel the suction within that needle.
This was not a threat.
"Wait!" Babidi shouted. "If you absorb me, you'll only get incomplete magical memories! The magic array requires pure dark magic power
