Lu Xingshi had not gone far. After making a circuit, he turned back.
Naturally, he had seen Mora's actions, but he was not angry about them. It was a normal reaction.
If a stranger suddenly appeared in your home, even an ordinary person would investigate what was going on, let alone Mora, a powerful and influential Federation Councilor.
If Mora had been so big-hearted as to simply ignore it, he would never have climbed to his current position. He would have been schemed to death halfway up the ladder.
Whether Councilors or non-Councilor politicians, few in the Federation were good people.
Mora soon left the estate as well, while Lu Xingshi considered what to do next.
So far, he had gained nothing at all.
As for finding an anchor in the future? That was still unknown. And even if he had found one, it would not actually be of any use.
The reason was simple. It might be useful in the future, but what use was it in the present? Besides, his arrival could very well alter the future.
Especially after he had encountered Mora. If he had not met him, it would have been fine, but now that they had met, who knew whether Mora would undergo corresponding changes because of it?
For example, the originally chosen location might be canceled because of this incident.
It was not as though such a thing was impossible.
Of course, perhaps no changes would occur, or perhaps Lu Xingshi had simply found the wrong place.
But it did not matter. For Lu Xingshi, these things could be handled slowly.
"Mora's growth is a little too slow." Lu Xingshi watched Mora's departing back. "He's only at Baleful-Intent Rank even now. To reach Calamity Rank, he'll need at least another thirty years or so."
