"Brother-in-law, take a look for me. Why does the shower seem to have stopped?" Bulma asked.
"The shower stopped? Did the water get cut off?" Indra asked in return.
"I don't know. Hurry and come in." Bulma waved Indra over.
Indra: ""
Bulma, is it really appropriate for you to be this forward?
Whoosh!
Just then, Pibara's figure flashed, appearing in the spaceship's main hall.
"Indra, are you here?" Pibara called out.
"Ah! Who's there? Is this place haunted?" Bulma jumped in fright.
"It's Pibara. He came over with Instant Transmission," Indra said.
"Oh, I see. You scared me." Bulma patted her chest.
"I'll go take a look." Indra called out as he walked into the distance.
Before long, Indra saw the anxious-looking Pibara.
"Is something wrong?" Indra asked Pibara.
"Indra, that Saiyan named Vegeta has come to Yardrat. He says he wants all the Yardratians to become his underlings. The Grand Elder sent me to ask you to come help us," Pibara hurriedly explained.
Indra: ""
Of all times, why did you have to come now?
Did you really have to show up at this exact moment?
Indra was a little unhappy.
"The Grand Elder said that if you are willing to help us through this crisis, then from now on, whatever you need, the Yardratians will be at your command," Pibara said through gritted teeth.
"You're being too formal. We're so close—how could I possibly bring myself to order you around?" Indra laughed.
Pibara nodded vigorously.
I was just being polite. Don't take it seriously.
"But your suggestion really isn't bad. If I take Vegeta as my underling, then you'll all become my underlings too, right?" Indra pondered.
Pibara: ""
"Come on, I'll go take a look with you." Indra smiled.
Yardrat.
Vegeta frowned as he watched more and more Yardratians gather at the scene.
In less than a minute, there were already tens of thousands of Yardratians gathered there.
.0
And their energy felt very strange.
What was going on?
I remember Frieza's men investigating this planet before. They said there were only a little over a hundred Yardratians on it.
How had they multiplied to this extent now?
"Listen up, everyone! I am the prince of the Saiyans, the warrior race. My name is Vegeta, and I am the most talented warrior in the universe! I can easily destroy this planet," Vegeta shouted. "However, as long as you obey my commands and act according to my will, I, Vegeta, will protect you."
Whoosh!
As he spoke, figures flickered at the scene as Pibara appeared with Indra.
The Grand Elder let out a sigh of relief.
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh!
In an instant, the tens of thousands of Yardratians at the scene vanished as if by magic.
Vegeta was dumbfounded.
What was going on?
Then Vegeta's pupils suddenly shrank as he saw Indra appear nearby.
"What? How is this possible? Indra is still alive?" Vegeta's expression changed again and again. He even wanted to immediately turn around and leave in his spaceship.
"Isn't this Vegeta? What? What are you doing on Yardrat?" Indra looked at Vegeta with a smile.
Vegeta trembled slightly.
Vegeta believed that with his current strength, no matter how hard he tried, he could not possibly be Indra's match.
Even Frieza, with a power level of 120 million, had been easily wiped out by Indra.
Vegeta's body shook violently.
Damn, how had he forgotten something so important?
This was bad.
What now?
What now?
"Go on, how should I punish you?" Indra looked thoughtfully at Vegeta.
Vegeta shuddered again.
"By the way, Grand Elder, do you raise fish here? Big fish, like sharks on Earth," Indra asked, turning to the Grand Elder.
"Yes. We keep the kind of fish you mentioned in the artificial lake over there. We call them giant gote fish," the Grand Elder said with a nod.
Vegeta's pupils suddenly shrank, and his expression changed again and again.
Vegeta suddenly remembered that Indra had erased Ginyu's energy and tossed him into a lake on Planet Namek to feed the fish.
The captain of the mighty Ginyu Force, someone who could easily destroy a planet with one hand, had been eaten by sharks just like that.
Vegeta shivered.
Terrifying!
That kind of death was worse than simply being erased.
"I suddenly remembered that I once told that shark on Planet Namek that I'd give it better food. Sadly, it waited with longing in its eyes, but even after the planet stopped turning, it never got to taste any new food." Indra sighed. "Vegeta, do you think that fish has classified me as a liar?"
"Clack, clack, clack..."
Vegeta's entire body shook violently.
But then Vegeta gritted his teeth and looked Indra straight in the eye.
"Indra, do you dare give me some time? As long as I can become a Super Saiyan, I might not lose to you!" Vegeta raised his head, stared at Indra, and clenched his fists.
Indra looked at Vegeta with a smile.
Cold sweat streamed down Vegeta's face.
Still, Vegeta's expression remained fairly composed.
Only his legs trembled slightly, and he was nearly brought to his knees.
Vegeta truly feared that Indra would wave a hand, erase the energy in his body, and then feed him to the fish.
Just thinking about it was horrifying.
"Tell me, how long do you need to become a Super Saiyan?" Indra asked with a smile.
"Three months! Give me three months! I'll definitely become a Super Saiyan!" After a brief stunned pause, Vegeta hurriedly answered.
"Three months is too short. I'll give you three years," Indra said with a smile.
"What?" Vegeta was dumbfounded.
When had Indra become so generous?
From three months to three years?
"What? Too long? Then make it three days," Indra said.
"Not long, not long. Three years it is! It's a deal!" Vegeta hurriedly said.
Whoosh!
Indra lightly waved his hand.
At once, Vegeta's previously erased left arm miraculously reappeared.
Vegeta widened his eyes and stared unblinkingly at his restored left arm, his face filled with shock.
"I'm returning your arm for now. If you still can't become a Super Saiyan in three years, I'll take both your arms." Indra smiled, then called to Pibara. "Take him to Earth."
"Y-yes," Pibara quickly replied.
"Vegeta, I've given you an opportunity. I'm sending you to Earth, where you can temper a peaceful heart. I hope you make good use of it." Indra smiled at Vegeta.
Vegeta said nothing.
Have this Yardratian take me to Earth?
What did that mean?
Whoosh!
Pibara took Vegeta and used Instant Transmission. With a slight blur, they appeared on Earth.
Pibara had no intention of lingering on Earth and vanished straight away, returning to Yardrat.
"This... this is Earth?" Vegeta looked at the land before him in amazement. "How did he do that?"
A brief silence followed.
"Never mind that for now. I have to find a way to become a Super Saiyan." Vegeta shook his recovered left arm and muttered to himself, "According to what Planet Namek's Shenron said, I already meet all the other requirements. Compared to Kakarot, the only thing I lack is a peaceful heart. Then I need to figure out how to obtain one."
Yardrat.
"Thank you so much, Indra," the Grand Elder said sincerely.
That terrifying Vegeta had nearly been talked into kneeling by just a few words from Indra.
"No need to thank me. Just don't suddenly show up and disturb me for no reason in the future. Let me know before you come," Indra said.
Grand Elder: ""
Pibara: ""
Who exactly was disturbing whom?
You were the one who came to our Yardrat first, weren't you?
"Shall I take Indra back to the spaceship?" Pibara suggested.
Indra nodded.
"Whoosh!"
Using Instant Transmission, Pibara sent Indra straight back onto the spaceship in a flash.
"Until we meet again." Pibara waved.
"No need to see me off." Indra nodded.
Pibara quickly departed.
After Pibara returned to Yardrat, the Grand Elder proposed stepping down and handing the position of Grand Elder over to Pibara.
The Grand Elder was exhausted.
Yardrat's rare treasures had all been looted clean by that Earth woman named Bulma.
That woman was even greedier than her sister.
