Background / History

Giant Tusk was formerly the Chieftain of the Tusk Tribe and remained its strongest conventional warrior after the Witch Doctors were excluded from consideration. His combat experience and prestige among traditional Trolls led the expeditionary army to place its temporary supreme command in his hands. 179

During the war against Hornhoof City, he served as the Tusk Tribe’s frontline commander and coordinated strategy with the Witch Doctors against enemy siege engines and fire magic. 184

He later volunteered for a dangerous incomplete-implant experiment intended to test whether a warrior could merge with a self-circulating energy system. To provide the researchers with tissue for the project, he endured extensive surgery, blood loss, and a reduced lifespan risk. 223 The experiment unexpectedly succeeded, producing a multifunctional organ system that could potentially be replicated for other Troll warriors. 224

After elfification and years of training, Giant Tusk became a central example of the Republic’s warrior-development research. He repeatedly accepted painful modifications, cultivation trials, electrical-resistance training, and space-based examinations to pursue a path of advancement founded on will, physical matter, and electromagnetism. 250 316 318

Appearance

Giant Tusk’s appearance changes drastically across his transformations, though his imposing stature and warrior’s physique remain defining traits.

  • As a Troll, he possessed enormous tusks and a massive body; his tusks were prominent enough that he habitually touched them while thinking. 179 250
  • After elfification, his tusks retracted into his mouth; their bone enamel was used to reinforce his teeth, jaw, and skeleton. 249
  • His elfified body reached 3.25 meters and 1.2 tons after regrowth, appearing slimmer despite exceeding his prior height and weight. 250
  • Purple-gold patterns spread across his body during Life Force Field Furnace cultivation. 317
  • Following gene-aggregation integration, he grew to 43 meters tall. 387
  • He later demonstrated controlled reduction from roughly 70 meters to four meters. 446

Personality

Giant Tusk is defined by endurance, directness, and a deep sense of duty toward his people. He willingly accepts personal danger when he believes it may improve the Republic’s future, even preparing himself to die during the implant experiment. 223 224

He retains the instincts and pride of a traditional warrior, but he also embraces research and disciplined self-improvement. His willingness to endure surgery, cultivation discomfort, berserk-control training, and experimental modification makes him an important bridge between the Republic’s warriors and Witch Doctors. 236 250 316

Despite his immense power, he does not treat his own path as universal. He recognizes that each warrior must find an individual direction rather than having his beliefs imposed upon them. 429

Abilities & Skills

Elite Warrior Physiology

Giant Tusk possesses exceptional strength, durability, speed, and combat endurance, which continue to improve through elfification, implants, and cultivation.

  • Formerly regarded as the Tusk Tribe’s strongest warrior outside the Witch Doctors. 179
  • Can maintain highly intense physical training with stable breathing and muscle rhythm even while exhausted. 236
  • His elfified physique provides several-times greater muscular and skeletal strength, agility, reaction speed, and endurance than before. 250
  • Reached giant sizes of at least 43 meters through gene-aggregation development. 387

Frenzy Control

He trains to endure and control berserk states rather than merely surrendering to them.

  • His Frenzy can produce explosive speed and force, but previously caused loss of reason and attacks on nearby allies. 236
  • Endured the effects of fifth-level Frenzy after five years of training. 236
  • Requires complete emotional suppression to attempt the theoretical sixth-level stage. 236

Warrior’s Meditation and Implant Assimilation

Giant Tusk uses willpower to force his body into accepting foreign implants and modifications.

  • Suppresses rejection responses during surgery through a rough, forceful form of warrior’s meditation. 250
  • Assimilates implants more effectively than ordinary subjects, forming the basis of later warrior-development research. 316 317
  • His assimilation process develops into the Life Force Field, which gradually draws external material toward his own material composition. 317

Life Force Field Furnace

A modified version of his Life Force Field that combines bodily cultivation with magnetic-field assistance.

  • Uses micro-carving and altered implants to improve the field’s efficiency. 317
  • Converts electrical input and magnetic-field stimulation into gradual cellular-mass growth. 317 318
  • Produces a two-way effect: while assimilating matter, his own traits slowly shift toward the properties of what he transforms. 318

Electromagnetic Combat

His second core and Life Force Field are developed toward a personal electromagnetic path.

  • Can discharge electricity and generate magnetic fields. 318
  • Gains enhanced reaction speed, offensive force, defense, and energy endurance. 330
  • Can briefly hover and inflict paralysis through attacks. 330
  • Uses electrical acceleration and physical force to defeat an opponent in fivefold enhancement armor while unarmored. 329 330
  • His advancement is theorized to resemble a distinct path toward near-god-like existence, rather than the normal Magic Beast progression. 318

Size Manipulation

Giant Tusk can alter his body size substantially.

  • Reached approximately 70 meters before later shrinking to four meters. 446
  • Reduced form greatly lowers his material abundance, energy density, inscription capacity, physical strength, and overall combat power. 446
  • Even at four meters, he remains stronger than his Troll-stage self and slightly stronger than his early elf-stage self. 446

Equipment / Weapons / Items

  • Living armor core — A wooden sphere containing the core of a living external armor; it can become armor in battle or root as a sapling outside combat. 250
  • External armor — A cultivated giant elf-shaped armor over 700 meters tall in its deployed form. 448
  • Second core implant — A modified implant beneath his heart that serves as the basis for his electromagnetic cultivation and field generation. 317 318
  • Neural-control interface — Surgical modification enabling external control links and improved implant nutrient and energy delivery. 250

Relationships

  • Nesta — Council Chairman and principal figure behind Giant Tusk’s implant and warrior-development experiments; Giant Tusk trusts his guidance despite the risks involved. 223 224
  • Witch Doctors — Research partners and medical supervisors who develop his implants, Frenzy-control training, Life Force Field Furnace, and electromagnetic path. 223 236 317 318
  • Gonzalo — Witch Doctor who monitors Giant Tusk’s Frenzy-control training and evaluates his fifth-level Frenzy endurance. 236
  • Azshara — Assists Giant Tusk’s cultivation discussions and examination of his electromagnetic development. 318
  • Frost Tusk, Night Tusk, Wood Tusk, and companions — Fellow travelers and armor users who accompany him on later recreational and spacecraft journeys. 429 448 454
