As the Creation Origin entered it, the pearl hummed and light flowed across its surface. The distinction between clear and turbid grew sharper within its world, while the laws Yellow Dragon had comprehended slowly imprinted themselves upon it. Its potential rose considerably.
He gave one drop to the Nine-Rank Pure World White Lotus. It had originally possessed twelve ranks, but damage in its early years had depleted its origin. Yellow Dragon had spent a great deal just to keep it from falling below nine ranks.
As the Creation Origin fell upon it, the white lotus swayed gently and spread its petals, radiating an ever purer, holier white light. Its origin improved only slightly, but it brimmed with life, and the purifying Dao resonance it emitted grew richer and more refined.
He fused one drop into the withered, charred branch of the Innate Spiritual Root Enlightenment Tea Tree that Zhenyuanzi had given him. Corroded by Demonic Energy, it had only a trace of life left.
It had taken more than ten thousand years in the Pure World White Lotus's Lotus Pond to cleanse the Demonic Energy tangled with its origin and life force. That trace of life had nearly vanished in the process, and Yellow Dragon had spent several drops of Three Lights Divine Water to restore it. Still, it had never sprouted.
As the Creation Origin entered the charred branch, its blackened outer layer flaked away. An almost imperceptible current of life began to flow!
