Thud!
A muffled impact rang out.
Yellow Dragon had just emerged from the spatial tunnel, his head still spinning. The dark passage behind him had not yet closed, and before he could make out his surroundings, a terrifying pressure descended upon him.
The immense force slammed him to the ground. His handsome face met the hard earth in a thoroughly undignified face-plant.
"Ah...!"
Yellow Dragon cried out instinctively, his voice trembling beneath the crushing pressure.
"Where... where the hell did that send me?"
He struggled for a long while, drawing on every ounce of strength he had. Only after gradually adjusting to the heavy pressure did he rise, his bones grinding as he stood.

Time seemed to lose all meaning here. Perhaps an instant passed, or perhaps hundreds of years.
Yellow Dragon devoted himself entirely to adapting to the pressure that surrounded him.
Gradually, the weight that had nearly crushed both his body and Primordial Spirit seemed to ease a little—not because the pressure had weakened, but because his body was slowly adapting to its limits.
After an unknown span of time, he could even jog beneath the terrifying pressure. He was still far slower than when flying, but it was tremendous progress.
Later, he could even ride the clouds for short distances.
Yet a cloud ride that once carried him tens of thousands of miles in an instant now felt like flying with a divine mountain on his back. He could rise only a few yards off the ground and moved as slowly
