Golden light surged relentlessly from Frieza's body. The ice beneath his feet sizzled under the heat, giving off white vapor. A circle of ice melted around him, and the meltwater crept outward through the cracks.
"Everyone, get back!" Piccolo shouted.
The nearby soldiers were forced back again and again by that aura. Their feet slipped, and they fell onto the ice, scrambling and rolling away as fast as they could.
"I had intended to keep you around for a few more useful days," Frieza said coldly as he looked at Broly. "You brought this on yourself."
Before he had even finished speaking, Broly lunged at him.
The ice beneath Broly's feet shattered into pieces with that leap.
His whole body became a green blur as he crashed forward. Frieza casually raised a hand to block him. The two auras collided with a boom, and a huge section of ice beneath them instantly collapsed. Broken ice mixed with seawater and shot into the sky, a white column of water soaring dozens of feet high before crashing back down in a roar.
The two fought from the ice into the air, then smashed back down from the air onto the ice.
They were so fast that only two streaks of light could be seen darting wildly over the ice field—one green, one gold. Every collision came with a dull boom, collapsing entire walls of ice and blasting seawater high into the air. The people on the ice could not tell who was who. They could only hear constant thunder overhead as shards of ice rained down, leaving them unable to lift their heads.
