The Flying Nimbus streaked across the sky distorted by heat waves like a meteor.
Above the clouds, Luo Chen rapidly reviewed the events that were about to unfold.
"If I remembered correctly, Master Roshi's Bansho Fan, the one that could summon wind and rain, had long since been thrown away as trash after getting wonton noodle soup on it."
Facing the fierce wind, Luo Chen's lips curved into a confident smile.
"In the story, with the Bansho Fan gone, the old man could only put out the fire himself. One Kamehameha not only extinguished the flames but also blasted the castle flat. That would save us the trouble of searching for the Dragon Ball, and more importantly... this was the perfect chance to get the Kamehameha for free! In the original story, Son Goku learned this ultimate move after seeing it once. I think I can do the same!"
An hour later, Kame House in the middle of the vast ocean came into view.
The front door was pushed open.
Master Roshi, wearing a floral shirt, was sprawled before the television, avidly watching swimsuit girls on an aerobics channel. His nosebleed was practically about to reach his chin.
"Grandpa Roshi, watching TV?" Luo Chen poked half his body inside.
"Holy shit!" Master Roshi jolted in fright, then coughed twice to hide his embarrassment.
"It's Goku! Why did you suddenly come here?"
"Fire Mountain is on fire. Uncle Ox-King wants to borrow the Bansho Fan!" Luo Chen got straight to the point.
"Well..." Master Roshi rubbed his bald head and guiltily scratched his cheek.
"Some time ago, I accidentally spilled soup on it while eating wonton noodles. It got all dirty, so... I just threw it away!"
Just as expected.
Luo Chen laughed inwardly, though he put on a helpless expression. "Then what do we do? Uncle Ox-King is still waiting to put out the fire."
"Sigh, it's not like there's no solution. This old man will make the trip himself!" Master Roshi sighed, but in the next second, his sage-like demeanor instantly collapsed. Rubbing his hands together, he leaned closer.
"But Goku, I can't make the trip for nothing. That blue-haired girl who was with you last time had quite a figure... As long as you agree to let this old man touch her chest after I put out the fire..."
Seeing the old pervert's blissful expression, Luo Chen found it both funny and infuriating.
"Deal!" Luo Chen agreed without the slightest hesitation.
"As long as you put out the fire, you can touch them however you want!"
"Good lad! That's the spirit!"
Master Roshi was instantly fired up, practically drooling as he rushed outside and whistled.
"Come out, Turtle!"
Water splashed as a small sea turtle crawled onto the beach. Its limbs suddenly retracted into its shell, and then it began spinning at high speed like a flying saucer, hovering in midair with a buzzing hum.
Master Roshi leaped up, landing steadily on the back of the Whirlwind Turtle, then shot toward Fire Mountain. Luo Chen followed behind on the Flying Nimbus.
At the foot of Fire Mountain, flames soared into the heavens.
Seeing Master Roshi descend from the sky, his disciple Ox-King rushed forward with tears in his eyes. "Master! You finally came! Where's the treasured fan?"
"Didn't bring it!" Master Roshi clasped his hands behind his back, gave a tactical cough, and assumed the bearing of a grandmaster.
"But it's merely a small fire. Why would we need the Bansho Fan? With just a little effort, your master can extinguish this sea of flames for you!"
Ox-King froze at those words, while Bulma and Oolong, hiding beneath a parasol, were completely dumbfounded.
Oolong stared with his piggy eyes at the shriveled old man before him. "Hey, old man, this fire is burning an entire mountain! Are you planning to spit it out with your saliva?"
Bulma was just as suspicious. She could not imagine what method this lecherous old man could use to put out such raging flames.
"Ignorant youngsters!"
Master Roshi snorted proudly and strode toward the towering inferno. He stopped, slowly removed his sunglasses, and casually tore off his floral shirt.
Meanwhile, Luo Chen paid no attention to the others' shock and doubt.
He stood firmly at the perfect viewing spot, his breathing completely still. In that instant, his martial senses rose to their utmost limit, his gaze locked tightly onto that shriveled figure.
He knew—
The main event had arrived!
"Haaah—!!!"
Along with Master Roshi's thunderous roar!
A shocking sight unfolded. His originally shriveled, frail body expanded wildly as though inflated! Muscles like granite burst free from the constraints of his veins, while bulging veins coiled like dragons.
In an instant, he transformed into a two-meter-tall, overwhelmingly imposing musclebound giant!
"Holy shit!" Oolong fell flat on his ass in fright. He knew perfectly well that this was not a transformation technique.
Bulma covered her mouth in utter shock.
"This is Master's ultimate move!" Ox-King shouted excitedly.
The muscular Master Roshi lowered into a horse stance, drawing his hands to his waist, palms facing one another.
"Kame—"
A massive pale-blue glow began gathering in his palms! The air around him seemed to be instantly sucked dry, forming violent miniature hurricanes!
"Ka—"
The blue light grew increasingly dazzling, and the raging energy fluctuations lifted great amounts of sand and stone into the air!
"—me—ha—me—ha!!!"
With a final roar, Master Roshi suddenly thrust both hands forward!
"BOOM—!!!"
In an instant, a pale-blue beam several meters thick erupted from Master Roshi's palms! Like a giant dragon breaking free of its chains, it carried terrifying, unstoppable force as it slammed fiercely into the crimson sea of flames!
Boom—!
At that moment, heaven and earth abruptly lost their color. Blinding white light swallowed everything, leaving everyone briefly blinded.
Amid the earth-shattering explosion, the entire burning Fire Mountain was wiped clean from the earth in a single strike, together with the towering inferno and the castle atop the mountain... reduced to fragments of stone scattered across the sky!
Once the smoke and dust dispersed, the world returned to calm.
The fire was indeed out, but Ox-King's entire fortune had gone up in smoke with it.
"My castle..." Staring at the vast plain before him, Ox-King dropped to his knees with a thud, on the verge of tears.
"Oh dear... I may have used a little too much force!" With a sound like air leaking out, the muscle-bound Master Roshi instantly shrank back into his withered old-man form. He pulled out a handkerchief to wipe the sweat from his brow, proudly admiring everyone's petrified expressions.
Meanwhile, Luo Chen slowly closed his eyes.
Deep in his mind, a precise and orderly diagram of energy circulation had already taken shape.
That was pretty damn cool! So that's how the Kamehameha works?! Luo Chen silently praised.
It forcibly drew the scattered, chaotic qi within the body along specific meridian pathways, compressed it into both palms, and finally unleashed it in an instant.
He slowly opened his eyes, a knowing smile flashing through them.
The spectacle is certainly impressive, but there's far too much energy loss while gathering qi, and the wind-up is too long.
Luo Chen raised an eyebrow almost imperceptibly.
If I used the true qi generated by the "Heavenly Cycle" within my dantian, and released it through this method...
Thinking it, he acted. Without the slightest hesitation, Luo Chen walked straight toward a hard boulder that had just rolled down the mountain, standing as tall as a two-story building.
"Goku, what are you doing?" Bulma poked her head out from behind him, her face full of confusion.
Master Roshi scratched his bald head and teased with a laugh.
"Kid, this is an ultimate technique that took this old man a full fifty years to master! Don't tell me you're thinking of..."
Before he could finish, it was as though a giant hand had clamped around his throat. His voice abruptly cut off!
The old man's eyes behind his sunglasses bulged wide as he stared at the boy before him as if he had seen a ghost!
Luo Chen slightly lowered his stance and copied the motion, overlapping his hands at his waist.
There was no exaggerated, terrifying muscle expansion, nor any horrifying phenomenon of raging winds. Yet an even more restrained and pure energy was silently gathering frantically in Luo Chen's palms!
A deep-blue glow did not leak out in the slightest. Luo Chen compressed it between his palms into a high-pressure sphere no bigger than a baseball, yet so blinding it made people tremble in fear!
"Kamehameha—"
Luo Chen's gaze was cold and sharp as a blade as he suddenly thrust both hands forward!
"Whoosh—!!!"
A deep-blue beam no thicker than an arm, yet condensed almost into solid form, shot from Luo Chen's palms like lightning!
With a soft sizzle, the two-story boulder was instantly pierced through!
The beam's remaining force did not diminish. Tearing through the wind, it shot straight into the heavens and, in an utterly violent display, forcibly carved a straight crack several kilometers long through the thick, rolling clouds in the sky—a crack that refused to close for a long time!
Crack, crack, crack...
A breeze passed by, and the massive boulder began collapsing from its smooth puncture hole, turning into fine powder that scattered on the wind.
The entire area fell silent, with only the sound of wind blowing across the wasteland.
Oolong's mouth hung wide enough to fit an ostrich egg inside. As everyone stared at Luo Chen's back, their minds had completely short-circuited.
Master Roshi's sunglasses fell from his face with a crack and shattered on the ground. His shriveled mouth hung slightly open as he looked at the crack in the sky, then at Luo Chen, his hands trembling as though he had Parkinson's.
"Fifty... fifty years..."
A tear, whether from excitement or despair, slid from the corner of Master Roshi's eye. "This old man trained painstakingly for a full fifty years to master this technique... and you learned it after one look? How does it seem even stronger?!"
Luo Chen slowly lowered his hands. Looking slightly exhausted, as though all his strength had been drained, he turned toward Master Roshi, who was on the verge of breaking down, and gave him an innocent smile.
"Grandpa Roshi, this move is really useful!"
Not only did he kill, he twisted the knife.
"Beep, beep, beep..."
In the eerie silence, a faint glimmer flashed from deep within the ruins as the Dragon Radar in Bulma's hand began to beep.
"Dragon Ball!"
She rushed into the ruins in wild delight and dug an intact orange sphere out of the ashes.
"Found it! The sixth Dragon Ball!"
Now, only the last one remained!
At that moment, Master Roshi, who had been frozen in shock the entire time, suddenly snapped back to his senses. Rubbing his hands together and swallowing hard, he sidled up to Bulma with a lecherous grin.
"Um... ahem! The fire's out, and we got the Dragon Ball. As agreed, let this old man have a feel!"
The smile on Bulma's face instantly froze. She covered her chest in horror and backed away. "W-What agreement?!"
Luo Chen wore a teasing expression as he snapped his fingers at Oolong.
"Oolong, it's time to give Grandpa Roshi his reward."
Oolong shuddered all over and nodded somewhat nervously.
Bang!
A cloud of white smoke burst forth!
Under Master Roshi's expectant gaze, a two-meter-tall burly man with thick black chest hair and a leopard-print bikini shyly opened his arms.
"You naughty thing~~~ Come have some fun~~~"
"Bleurgh—!!!"
At the foot of Fire Mountain, the agonized screams and retching of the God of Martial Arts echoed through the air.
