Hearing the voice in his mind, Malvis recalled the novels he had read in his previous life. Sure enough, systems were practically an essential cheat ability for transmigrators these days. Suppressing his excitement, Malvis asked, "System, what can you do?"

"I will issue quests. Completing them will grant corresponding rewards, such as the training method for Ultra Instinct."

"Hmm, can't you just make me learn it directly or directly increase my power?"

"That won't do. Energy cannot be created from nothing, nor can it vanish into nothing. That is a universal law. At most, I can increase your training speed, but that requires Destruction Points."

Then, Malvis vanished from where he stood.

Somewhere in the universe, Malvis looked at the planet before him as a purple sphere of Destruction energy slowly descended from his hand. The moment it touched the planet's surface, the planet turned into particles of light and vanished from this region of space.

"Why are there so many unqualified planets in the universe? They're either uninhabited planets with harsh environments, or planets that know nothing but slaughter and destruction. Looks like I've got a lot of work to do."

For the first five days, Malvis could not even stabilize a fist-sized ball of Destruction energy—the purple light either exploded too early or silently dissipated at his fingertips. On the seventh day, in a fit of anger, he pushed his energy to the limit. Though he successfully destroyed the target planet, other nearby planets that had not been within the destruction range were greatly affected as well.

Now, one month later, he could finally control Destruction energy precisely in his palm, manipulating it as freely as if he were holding a droplet of water. Aside from Destruction energy, this wild God of Destruction knew practically no other abilities. The one thing that made him feel better was that, through his own exploration, he had discovered that he was no ordinary Saiyan, but a Legendary Super Saiyan. Moreover, as a God of Destruction, he was not like Broly, unable to control his power and prone to berserk rages.

"I don't have an Angel's speed, nor can I use Instant Transmission like the Supreme Kai or Goku. What a pain. Looks like I'll have to find Shin, the Supreme Kai, and see if I can learn Instant Transmission from him. (PS: The protagonist doesn't know how far the current timeline has progressed.)"

Malvis casually gave the nearby planet the same destructive gift as the last one, then burst forth with energy and flew toward the Supreme Kai Realm. (PS: Gods can sense divine ki and follow it.)

On Earth, after learning about what might happen in the future, all the Z Fighters were training hard.

Goku, Piccolo, and Gohan formed one group; Tien and Chiaotzu formed another; while Vegeta and Yamcha trained in Capsule Corporation's high-tech gravity chamber. Only poor Krillin was training with Master Roshi alone on his island.

During this time, something went wrong while Vegeta was training in the gravity chamber, and he ended up in the hospital on the spot. While unconscious, he dreamed of Goku and Future Trunks transforming into Super Saiyans before his eyes. Even their mere aura was something he could not resist no matter how hard he tried.

Seeing how effective Vegeta's training in the gravity chamber seemed, Yamcha secretly went back to try it himself. The result was that the 300G gravity slammed him flat against the floor, and he could only barely manage to turn it off after exerting all his strength.

At Goku and Piccolo's training ground, the two fought to their hearts' content, though they did not forget to take time to guide young Gohan.

On the road back to Mount Paozu, Chi-Chi clutched the ingredients she had bought from town as she ran desperately, dodging the huge wild boar chasing behind her. She herself was unharmed, but the boar's sharp tusks punctured the bag of food, causing some of the groceries to spill out.

As a housewife, Chi-Chi seemed to have completely forgotten that she had learned martial arts as a child. Though she was no match for powerful Earthlings like Yamcha or Master Roshi, she was not someone a mere wild boar could mess with.

On the way home, Chi-Chi saw a couple from the neighboring mountain driving home happily with their food. Looking down at the meager groceries left in her arms, she could not help but think of making Goku learn how to drive.

Once she got home, she had Goku and Piccolo enroll in driving school.

Even while learning to drive, Goku and Piccolo remained at odds with each other, neither willing to give way. They saved a school bus and the children inside during that time, but they were also expelled from the driving school, losing their chance to learn how to drive.

And so, in order to survive the androids that would appear three years later, every Z Fighter continued to work tirelessly.

Elsewhere, after a period of flying and destruction, Malvis arrived at the Supreme Kai Realm. There, he saw Shin, the Eastern Supreme Kai who knew almost nothing, and his attendant, Kibito.

Malvis did not reveal himself immediately, because he discovered that Shin and Kibito were discussing the planets that had recently vanished. Most had been abandoned planets, but some had been inhabited by intelligent life.

Kibito had even used his Instant Transmission to inspect them. The vanished planets had not left behind any trace of having been destroyed by an outside force. It was as if there had never been any planets there at all.

Shin and Kibito ultimately concluded that another existence as terrifying as Majin Buu had appeared in the universe.

Listening to the two gods, the corner of Malvis's mouth twitched almost imperceptibly. Majin Buu? That thing had struggled even against Supreme Kais who were not skilled in combat, and could only turn the battle around through absorption. Was it worthy of being mentioned in the same breath as him?

Then Malvis flashed behind Shin and, without the slightest hesitation, gave him a sharp rap on the head.

After receiving Malvis's greeting, Shin immediately clutched his head and crouched down.

"Who's there?"

Seeing his master attacked in the Supreme Kai Realm, Kibito immediately turned to attack.

But his answer was another rap on the head, and he soon followed Shin's example.

Once they recovered, Shin immediately pulled Kibito back, putting some distance between them as they watched Malvis warily.

"Who are you? How did you get here?"

After hearing Shin's question, Malvis did not answer right away. In that brief burst of power just now, he had already gauged Shin's strength—among mortal Saiyans, he was roughly somewhere between the peak of Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan 2. Not truly strong, but for a non-combat-oriented Supreme Kai, he did not disgrace the title.

"Then let me introduce myself. I am the god who governs destruction—the God of Destruction, Malvis."

Malvis's gaze swept across them before finally settling on Shin. Then, he released a small portion of a God of Destruction's aura.

Though it was only a small portion, it was terrifying enough for a Supreme Kai whose combat ability was not outstanding. It was no different from having a blade suspended over his neck, waiting to fall. Shin felt as though an invisible hand had seized his throat, choking off his breath. Kibito instinctively took half a step back, his legs trembling slightly.
