Cell Was Suppressed

"He... he did it! Hahaha, that guy did great!" Seeing Android 16 successfully tear off Cell's tail, Tien Shinhan could barely contain his excitement.

The section of tail Cell had torn off was casually tossed onto the ground by Android 16, where it continued to writhe. Android 17 and Android 18 stared in shock—especially Android 17, who began to doubt his status as the "strongest Android."

"Now you can't absorb Android 17 and Android 18." After tossing away the tail, Android 16 looked at Cell, who was still lying on the ground, and spoke calmly.

"What a shame..." Cell nimbly rose from the ground, seemingly unconcerned about having his tail torn off. "Did you forget that I also have Piccolo's cells?" A smile appeared on his face as he spoke.

Haaah—!

Amid repeated roars, the stump of Cell's tail wriggled, and a brand-new tail grew from the severed end.

Android 16's movements paused for a moment. That tail—the one he had personally torn off moments ago—was now swaying before his eyes, completely intact.

As if mocking Android 16 for wasting his effort, Cell held his newly grown tail upright behind him and kept swaying it. "I can still regenerate from this level of damage."

"So, if I want to stop you from reaching Perfect Form, I have no choice but to kill you?"

"That is impossible."

"How would you know unless you tried?"

"Then let's try it."

The moment the words left his mouth, a fiercer aura burst from Cell's entire body. Like an erupting volcano, it charged straight at Android 16 with incomparable force. Android 16 showed no weakness, rushing toward him like an arrow released from a bow as another breathtaking battle erupted.

Cell, now displaying even greater power, flashed aside and easily evaded Android 16's incoming kick.

He swiftly gathered the surging energy within him into his left leg, reinforcing it with all his strength. Then he spun around and drove a vicious kick at Android 16 with all his might. The kick was immensely powerful, sending Android 16 flying backward. Cell pressed his advantage and rushed after him at lightning speed.

Android 16 had only just barely steadied himself after taking that heavy blow when Cell suddenly appeared before him, too fast for him to even make out his movements.

Cell swung his thick, powerful fist and smashed it mercilessly into Android 16's cheek.

Like a cannonball blasted away, Android 16 flew backward at tremendous speed, crashing heavily into the ground. He continued sliding forward with the momentum, only gradually coming to a stop after shooting dozens of meters away.

Cell landed back on the ground and looked at Android 16 lying facedown before him. The sudden reversal left the nearby spectators dumbfounded.

Cell turned his gaze toward Android 17 and Android 18 in the distance, a cold and savage smile curling across his lips.

Then he shifted his attention back to Android 16. A dazzling golden aura flared around his entire body as he shot toward his target like a blazing meteor.

Just as Cell closed in at lightning speed, something unexpected happened—Android 16, who had been lying motionless on the ground, suddenly pushed himself up. He swiftly turned to face Cell head-on and clenched his right fist at him.

In an instant, brilliant white light burst from his wrist joint in streaks, like tiny suns erupting all at once.

As the blinding white light shot forth, his entire right arm, fist included, actually soared into the air as though freed from the restraints of his body, hurtling straight toward Cell with lightning speed.

Cell was startled. Before he could react, the rapidly flying fist slammed into the right side of his face.

The enormous impact sent Cell flying backward like a kite with its string cut. Android 16 caught up with both the flying fist and Cell, coldly grabbed the iron fist and reattached it to his wrist, then vanished and appeared above Cell, punching the still-flying Cell straight into the ground.

Android 16 gave Cell no chance to react. He descended, grabbed Cell's body, and slammed him into the ground again. Cell vanished from sight, replaced by a bottomless hole that left Tien Shinhan and the Androids watching nearby utterly stunned.

Facing the massive crater filled with billowing smoke and flying dust, Android 16 stood firmly with his arms folded across his chest, his eyes cold and resolute.

Suddenly, crisp cracking sounds rang out all around—Android 16's hands detached at the wrists and tucked beneath his armpits, revealing densely packed energy transmission channels inside.

Without hesitation, Android 16 aimed both wrist joints at the bottomless crater before him. An overwhelming energy began gathering endlessly like a surging tide.

The energy seemed alive, intertwining and twisting together as its radiance flickered continuously. Even the surrounding air appeared to warp and boil beneath that utterly terrifying power.

"Hell's Flash!" With a furious roar from Android 16, two thick, tangible energy beams erupted from his wrists and blasted crazily into the ground with lightning speed.

As the energy beams continued pouring down, the surrounding ground cracked apart as though unable to bear the strain, forming savage fissures that spread into the distance like a spiderweb. The earth around the crater heaved upward, gradually swelling into an enormous mound.

In the blink of an eye, a blinding golden pillar of light erupted from the center of the mound and shot into the sky with incomparable force.

The entire island was plunged into an earth-shattering upheaval. The ground shook violently without end, as though it might collapse at any moment.

The others watching felt unprecedented pressure. The ground beneath their feet suddenly split apart, and several equally brilliant energy pillars burst from underground one after another like bamboo shoots after rain, piercing into the heavens.

As Android 16 continuously released the vast, surging energy within his body, pillars of light broke through the earth and soared skyward from every direction across the island.

From far away at Kami's Lookout, Gohan and Popo cheered repeatedly at the sight. As for Goku, he had gone to find Korin for Senzu Beans as soon as he learned Piccolo was still alive, and he had yet to return.

The island was now covered in craters of varying sizes, with clouds of smoke and dust drifting upward from them. Android 16 looked calmly at the crater still spewing smoke and dust before reattaching his hands.

Everyone looked at the battered island and Android 16 standing in the center of the battlefield, unable to calm their shock. They were all awed by Android 16's frightening strength.

"What are you still doing here? Didn't I tell you to run? Android 18!" Seeing Android 18 still standing there in a daze instead of fleeing, even Android 16's usually detached nature gave way to anger.

"What does it matter? Didn't you already defeat him?" Android 18 said unconcernedly.

"I haven't defeated him. He was only injured. With his strength, that attack wasn't enough to kill him." As Android 16 spoke, he did not forget to look at Android 17 and urge him, "Android 17, hurry and run! Run!"

"You want me to run? Are you kidding? He put me through hell just now. Even if I leave, it'll be after I've vented my anger!" Android 17's arrogance flared up again. He wanted to strike while Cell was down and finish him off. "Didn't you say he was injured? Then I'll give him another punch and send him to his death!"
