Background / History

Qi Tian was transported into the world as a Saiyan infant beside his younger twin, Son Goku. Grandpa Gohan found and raised both boys on Mount Paozu, naming Qi Tian first because he had been born moments earlier. Unlike Goku, Qi Tian retained memories of the Dragon Ball series and quickly recognized both his new world and the advantages granted by his sign-in system. 1

For twelve years, Qi Tian used daily sign-ins and physical training to build strength in secret. When Bulma arrived to begin the Dragon Ball search, he joined her, Goku, and later Yamcha on the journey. His system rewards and body-focused cultivation allowed him to overwhelm early threats, dismantle Pilaf Castle's defenses, and develop controlled Great Ape power. 1 4 6

After recruiting the Pilaf Gang rather than killing them, Qi Tian entered the World Martial Arts Tournament. He defeated Krillin, Master Roshi, and the rest of the field while deliberately restricting his power to refine his hand-to-hand combat.
